An end of an era, beginning of a new… 📸🔥🤙🏾

JUNE 20. We’re finally here…Ive never been more excited than i am right now. I’ve been radio silent lately figuring out my next steps in music. My new single, ‘….in the making.’ was one of the last songs I worked on for this project and was one of the most fulfilling. This song actually has 3 different meanings, one of sexual freedom and adulation, one of ownership and self worth, and one of self identity and body expression. This sound was the trigger for me, a little pop a little funk r&b. i feel i’ve found my pocket here and can’t wait to work on more records in this arena and go up and up. Come join me in making this one of my strongest debuts!!

THANK YOU FOR ANOTHER BIG YEAR! #2023 has been a transformative as an artist. The algorithm gods favored me this year and pushed my top song out to people all over the world. My followers rose to new heights. This is the year I became a recording and mixing engineer. Next year is when my power levels will be unmatched. There’s never an end point when making music, but it’s important to appreciate the ride.

Happy Labor Day gang!! I don’t normally post on holidays (I’m a non conformist 😛), but felt it important to emphasize the importance of labor power over the last several decades. Most of time working is only a means for survival. I pray for a future world where material interest is compatible with career opportunity. Too many specialized industries and organizations prioritize exclusivity and oftentimes outcast those who would strive in that environment. If you work, I hope your job values you (pays you well!). If they don’t, the power to change that will always be in your hands.

My second record of the year ‘Easy’ is coming out on September 7th. This was the most surprising song I ever created, first time I sat down and really drew from instinct. And in some ways that’s usually the case you sit down and write a melody out, or start with lyrics, or a beat or sound. I had severe writers block. I knew I wanted to turn to dance music and knew conceptually where I was headed, but didn’t know what to write or how it should sound. I experimented with 15+ beats, writing my own melodies, f**king around with instruments in pro tools and tbh they all sucked — bad. It just didn’t move me to record it, ya know. And I need to be moved to do music or feel strong enough to release. It all came down to vibes and that’s the best description of this song — ALL VIBESSS. Iconic, powerful, danceable, dark, ethereal, clubby, everything you need to elevate your mood and feel the very best. It’s a reminder anthem for us not to be so hard on ourselves, don’t let others be hard on you, and the concept of aging, living with fear, and anxiety. The power of saying no — being the main character in your life. My songs teach me so much about myself or the person I hope to become. I hope you will gain something valuable from this song too. I’m really excited for you to hear it and get stuck in your head.
