𝗣𝗨𝗥𝗢𝗞 𝗦𝗬𝗘𝗧𝗘
PAROL CONCEPT:
The base of the lantern was made of bamboo sticks, covered with karagomoy (pandanus simplex) mat, and the side portions was covered with the bowl part of the plastic spoon, painted with a red color paint. The center pentagon-shaped part was lined with coconut bracts and the inside was filled with common reed grass, surrounding the printed image of baby jesus with his parents on a manger, with the three kings. The arc part was covered with blue and silver metallic foil strips. And the lantern pendant (palawit) was made of abaca fiber embellished with handmade ropes (lubid).

This Christmas lantern expresses how grateful we are, to the tranquility and the abundance of nature that we are living right now, and to those people who's striving hard to provide for their families, especially those who we named as "PARA-HAGOT, PARA -LATI, PARA- LUBID, PARA-COPRA, AND PARA-KAHOY", these people are the warriors aiming for survival with a dream of a successful future of their own.
