Amazing Testimony of a Warrior and a Fighter Baby with Encephalocele & Hyrdrocephalus.

He is Baby Ken, he was born with encephalocele a rare birth defect of the neural tube that affects the brain. Ang neural tube po ay narrow chanel that folds and closes the brain and spinal cord. On his case, ung nueral tube nya ay hindi ngclose completely during pregnancy kaya ngprotrude at lumabas ang brain tissue/membrane. Sa loob ng tyan lumalaki ang bukol kaya pinanganak sya na prang dalawa ang ulo. He undergo surgery, 1st operation akala ay ok na nawala ang bukol pero ngkaroon ng complication at nauwi sa Hydrocephalus. Kelangan nyang maoperahan agad pra lagyan ng shunt/draininge ang ulo na syang tutulong pra mailabas ang fluid papunta sa abdomen at maiihi ito. After ilan buwan hindi nagiging ok ang kalagayan ni baby, ngkaroon ng infection ung ulo at kelangan operahan for 3rd time pra tangalin ang shunt pro
naging mahina katawan ng bata hanga sa hindi na ngreresponse at dumating sa point sabi ng Doctor sa family na tatangalin na ang oxygen na nkalagay sa knya kung walang response in few days at tuluyan ng mapapaalam si Baby Ken.. :( Duon na ngdecide ang Nanay na ipuslit ang barley sa loob ng NICU, pinapainom nya paunti unti hanga sa after ilan days, ngpinkish ang pisngi at nagmulat ang mata ng bata at ngstart ng igalaw ang knyang katawan at umiyak na.
Lumakas ang katawan ni Baby Ken at naoperahan sya for 3rd time pra tangalin ang shunt na ngcause ng infection sa ulo. By the help of God at sa barley na pinapainom ng nanay unti2 lumiliit ang size ng ulo ni Ken khit walang drainaige ito.. Finally aftr more than 8 months sa hospital nakalabas na si Ken at nakpag celebrate sya ng 1st Birthday nya sa knilang bahay. Si Baby Ken po ay may mga kasamahang bata sa hospital na suma-kabilang buhay na, Sya lamang po ang tanging nakaSurvive sa knla.. Let's give thanks to the Lord and lets continue to pray for his complete healing. There is Hope in every sip of Barley. :)
