A man in Austin has been charged for the deaths of two pedestrians who were hit and killed during South by Southwest this March. It is important to hold drivers accountable for their behavior on the road, especially if that behavior causes injuries or deaths.

According to Texas law, drivers must exercise due care to avoid collisions with pedestrians.

According to Texas Law, a bicycle must be equipped with a brake capable of making a skid mark. Remember to check your brakes before going for a bicycle ride.
For months, Dallas residents have been raising awareness about high levels of pedestrian crashes on Ferguson Rd. and other streets across the city. In March, the city of Dallas held a meeting to hear these concerns and reveal their plans to address them. The planned changes include restriping crosswalks, adding pedestrian crossing beacons where pedestrians lack a safe crossing, and adding sidewalks where they are currently absent.

Our WBS team at the 2024 Lifesavers Conference on Roadway Safety! Speakers at the event shared innovative technologies and discussed strategies to combat risky driving behaviors.

Here's a friendly reminder to observe the solar eclipse with approved glasses and to choose a safe location away from traffic.
A bicyclist in San Benito was killed in January when he was rear-ended by a distracted driver. Driver inattention is a major contributing factor to crashes.
