Additionally, Mosaic performs over 18,000 substance abuse screening assessments each year under contract with Baltimore City Department of Social Services. Mosaic programs are accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF) and licensed or approved by the Maryland Department of Health and Mental Hygiene or Department of Human Resources. Mosaic achieved Standards of Excellence status with Maryland Nonprofits in recognition of its outstanding management practices. Mosaic is an affiliate of the Sheppard and Enoch Pratt Foundation but maintains its own Board of Directors, 501(c)(3) status and responsibility for securing funding for its programs.
