I’ve been making jewelry since 2010, and it all began when I needed eye catching pieces to wear that would stand out on stage when I was playing music. Friends and strangers alike began asking me to make pieces for them and I realized I enjoyed helping other people shine on their own stage.

I absolutely love making jewelry but it honestly only takes up a fraction of my life pie chart…the biggest pieces are family life with parenting, and teaching art at an elementary school. I still play music and you may see me around town playing trombone or singing, and yes I will be most likely wearing my jewelry 🎵

I love hearing your stories about how your Milk & Honey pieces have impacted your lives in small but meaningful ways, and I’m honored to have made something that is an intimate part of your daily life. I truly want you to feel like a queen bee on your own stage, whether that’s in the board room, getting drinks with the girls or just chilling at home :)

You can expect some amazing local vendors as well as some imported vendors from our neighboring provinces. You can get your cozy on and hang with us this weekend!

This market has tickets you can buy online (you’ll save a few dollars too) and you’ll book a time slot. They do this to make sure there isn’t a huge rush so you can feel more relaxed while you shop. If you don’t feel like getting tickets online you can get them at the door but they specified if you pay at the door it will need to be exact cash $12.

From 2015-2016 I lived in Vancouver while I was taking a graphic design program by BCIT & U of Emily Carr. There were many incredible teachers and very talented colleagues who still inspire me today. I’m thankful I was able to use what I learned to design the Milk & Honey logo from scratch (drawing it as opposed to using a font or premade images). That program has helped me design my website, packaging, my booth and even my pieces.

While AI is going to revolutionize the area of graphic design, it can’t replace good taste and knowing the reasons why things look good and have a certain esthetic. I love having the ability to choose the feeling I want my jewelry to evoke and it brings me joy to work on all aspects of esthetic with Milk & Honey Jewelry and share it with you.

This yellow option of the oval woven studs has been in demand lately and I love that people are into wearing less conventional colours. They make me feel so cheerful when I pair them with my yellow sneakers!

Phew! That was a whirlwind! It filled my heart to see your smiles - thanks to everyone who stopped by! My nails matched my backdrop so it was worth a photo 💅🏻✨Thanks to .i.t.c.h.c.r.a.f.t.s for looking after the booth and thanks to for putting on a high quality event without being high strung. They are honestly the nicest people and work so hard to bring people out. So great to connect with other vendors , especially (too brief haha, next time) .kinfolk and the doggos 🐕 were so cute to boot 🥰

This past weekend was a blur and I loved every second! It was great to catch up with friends and meet some new ones too. The absolutely stunning in the Invicta Lux Collar. Probably the most intricate necklace I’ve ever made and the one I’m most proud of making. It’s like a puzzle when I put it together and the challenge is definitely part of the fun of making it.
