📬 PA Mail-In Ballots: Important Info
A family member recently found out they hadn’t signed their mail-in ballot after receiving an email from the election office stating their ballot would not be counted. The email provided only one option: go to their polling place on Election Day to cast a provisional ballot. Provisional ballots can be less certain, especially since there was a recent attempt by the Republicans to disqualify these ballots for voters who made errors on their mail-in ballots. Thankfully, the PA Supreme Court ruled against that attempt, keeping these provisional ballots valid.
To clarify their options, I contacted our local elections office, who confirmed they would not re-issue a mail-in ballot. However, they did offer another option: voters could visit the election office in person to sign their ballot anytime up through Election Day. Democrats volunteers have also made several attempts to reach out to them by email and voicemail to inform them of both options.

Saturday marks 10 days out to Election Day! The SCDC office will be open for business Saturday and Sunday, 12pm - 6pm so come in and see us. We just got restocked on yard signs! We have 150 Harris/Walz signs and 20 Republicans for Harris signs. We still have a few Harris/Walz hats left. We will be canvassing and phone banking this weekend and next weekend. Let's keep our joyful momentum going and bring this thing home for Kamala and the Coach!

A Manhattan grand jury has indicted former President Donald Trump, multiple sources close to Trump confirmed to NPR.

The charges, which are expected to be released in coming days, make Trump the first former president in United States history to be criminally indicted. The grand jury's indictment is expected to be unsealed in the coming days.
