The DaTerra Cucina Story
DaTerra Cucina pans are truly family inspired and family designed. We know this for sure because it is our family. And thank you for taking time to read our story.
At the center of our life together is a love of preparation of tasty dishes and traveling the world in search of more; staying in friends’ homes, dealing with cancelled reservations, over booked airplanes, and long lines. We don't care. It is our passion.
At the end of a trip in 2014, the discovery of Italian ceramic non-stick cookware sparked our inspiration to transform our cooking experience by designing a cookware line of our own. The following years were spent designing and developing DaTerra Cucina pans for American kitchens, including our own. We wanted to preserve the gorgeous look of the Italian ceramic cookware but also a create a sturdy pan that would hold up under daily use. Over the next two years, the Vesuvio line was born.
We’ve created a whole new family business. Both boys have been involved in the testing of pans, labeling of boxes, and the oldest even built the DaTerra website you are reading now. We all love cooking dishes from around the world with our Vesuvio pans and hope you will too. (And, thankfully, no one minds the easy clean-up either.)
