And a huge congrats to our seniors for making it through that freezing graduation!
Congratulations 2022 Orchestra Student of the Year Melinda Whatley
We had a great night celebrating during our last concert of the 2021-2022 school year. We had our elementary orchestra with us, and we got to do a combined orchestra piece together for the first time since December 2019.
We also said "see you later" to the Orchestra Seniors. This group of people is so special, and I am grateful they gave me a chance 3 years ago. Best of luck in all you do, class of 2022!
Congratulations to the orchestras for their great performances at CHSAA today! String got straight twos (excellent rating), and Chamber earned straight ones (superior rating)!
Here it is!!! A huge thank you again to all who donated to Legend Wish Week through the orchestra challenge.
We did it!! The orchestra program raised $610 for Legend Wish Week!
Mrs. McCollum chopped 14 inches of hair off after the assembly! (video to come) That hair will be donated to Children with Hair Loss.
She'll be rocking blue hair on Monday!
This is one of the last pictures of Mrs. McCollum with long, blonde hair. We raised over $500 for Wish Week as an orchestra program! A huge thank you to all those who donated in-person and online!
Before and after pictures will be coming!!
Our Wish Week total is climbing, but we aren't quite there yet. Our $250 goal for the classes needs to be reached by Thursday for the hair chop on Friday.
Friend/family/alumni contributions will be revealed on Thursday at the end of class.
Can the current Legend students get to $250? I bet they can!
You can donate in-person to Mrs. McCollum or visit the link in the comments to donate. Just be sure to message us with your total so we can add it to the goal.
Rapunzel is getting closer to her haircut goal! A huge thanks to those that donated so far! We reached $140.25 today in class.
Haircut donations needed to be in by Thursday. If we reach that goal, hair dye donations will be taken through Friday's classes.
Wish week is upon us!!
Mrs. McCollum has challenged the orchestra program to raise some good money for our Wish Week.
At $250 she will cut over a foot of hair off and donate it to
At $500 she will cut her hair and dye it blue!
Let's get those goals, Legend Orchestra!
