Belladonna of the Woods
This is all about me & my many trips to the woods. I'm sadly dead now, but you may still see me...
Great photograph ❤️
not very cat-like, but it’s different over the rainbow 🌈 bridge.

belladonna never really got to know this other little girl, but thought of her as an annoyance most of the time (probably cuz she didn’t feel all that well much of the time). :(
Hello all, thieving filmmaker here with a sad message from Henry’s human:
With sadness, I want to let you know of Ed White’s passing in late 2023. Also known in the Henri videos as “L’imbecile Blanc”, Ed lived a long and happy life for almost eighteen years. I miss him and Henry everyday, but am grateful they made so many people happy and raised so much money to help other animals. -KB
i was the camping cat, even if i didn’t want to be sometimes.
i was a sweet & beautiful girl.
who knew i would be gone so soon?
1 year ago today i was placed in the ground below the cement angel.
facebook wants belladonna to find some inspiration & doesn’t realize she’s really unable.
here’s a memory, anyway.
my old place.
(now the ads have taken over everything here, too, it seems)

i just decided to let a lot of the morning glories grow on the ground there, like a little carpet. it goes around the front area, by the angel (remember, my beautiful belladonna is buried below it) - surrounding her grave with nature/bits of color. i suppose it should be catnip, since she LOVED catnip.
as many have already heard, Belladonna has gone over the rainbow bridge. the vet may have called her "geriatric" (at her 15-17 years), but she usually seemed young to me. well, she didn't really care about playing all that much but she was starting to have more trouble. & then she quit eating...
she was a wonderful companion on many of those camping trips & right now i’m not even sure i'll do much more of it. maybe, just right now the memories are too fresh/new. she was only euthanized yesterday - the kind thing to do in her situation - but so many photos will be hard to look at.
i may post a few pictures in here when i come across them.
also feel free to post yours... you don't have to be camping with your cat, but having nature involved would be preferable.
thanks for checking in now & then (i know the last couple years haven't had much added).
Today we set an alexa/echo routine for 4:20 p.m. each day, when it will be announced how many days there are until spring.
kinda scary, but…
one more time at the park…
on the way home we went by a few areas. i couldn’t believe she said she got married by that one pond. also couldn’t believe her grandparents’ place was where that fancy house is now.
oh, & that wasn't me out there!
a rare time out (but locally & only for one night)
i’m just obviously so uncomfortable during my very first trip to the woods this year!
ahhh, this is the life..... (too bad we had to leave the 2nd night becuz of rain threat)
At the brook
Ongoing mood at the house..
I heard this was the previous camper, but we never met.
Sometimes when we're camping, I think I'd rather be home watching tv.
Good thing this one won't let her nails be clipped or put a harness on! Haha, she won't ruin our camping trips!
Found a neat little rock at the campsite that seems it was meant just for me.
just at bayshore (fairly local)
