Greetings dear bell ringing friends,
Thought you might like to know that we’re very short of ringers for the rest of this Christmas season. Many locations are lacking ringers all day or part of the day. For the next two weeks, less than half of the locations are filled.
We appreciate that you have been a Bell Ringer in the past and hope you'll assist us again in raising funds for the most vulnerable among us, right here in our own community. The funds raised help support our seasonal events (Coat for Kids & Families, Food Box events, and the Toy Shop), as well as assistance with medical, housing, heat, and other vital needs. Individuals and families seem to be struggling more than ever.
People in our community are very generous and willing to give, but when kettles are left without a Bell Ringer, people tend to pass by without donating. Many of our most profitable kettle sites have few to no ringers signed up, but with your help, and the help of other people you’d be willing to recruit, we could cover more kettles this holiday season. Grocery and retail stores tend to be super busy, but presently very short of ringers. Would you be willing to be a smiling ringer at a red kettle?
We would love if you would help us by ringing a bell at one of our 29 Red Kettle Locations. Shifts are 2.5 hours long, 10am-8pm through December 23. A few locations are outside, but most are in the store entryways. Anyone from 1 to 101 can ring, so involve the whole family! It’s a great way to teach the next generation about giving back.
Signup is easy - simply go to https://www.registertoring.com/ or call me at the number below.
Please feel encouraged to forward this message to any co-workers, friends, neighbors, or relatives who would like to help give back to our community by supporting The Salvation Army.
Thanks for considering helping us (again?!). We appreciate you and your help.
Blessings for a merry Christmas,
PS If you’d like a suggestion for where to sign up to get the most impact for your time, please consider one of the following locations – which have done very well in the past, but this year, not so much as they don’t have enough ringers:
Northport Hornbacher’s, Fleet Farm, Hornbachers on 32nd, Hornbacher’s Village West, Hornbacher’s Azool
Hornbacher’s in Mhd on Main, Hobby Lobby,
Cashwise in Mhd, Family Fare in West Fargo, Family Fare on 32nd
