This customer has an amazing view of the ocean, but people walking by have an equally amazing view of the inside of their home. We installed Lutron smart shades and now they can have some privacy at the touch of a button. Shades can be controlled individually, by zone/room, or even all at once throughout the entire house! These shades can even be set on schedules to raise and lower at specific times.

Here are some more pictures from that backyard we did last week!
We went with a Sonance Patio series 4.1 outdoor speaker system for the upper grassy area, a Landscape series 8.1 outdoor speaker system for the pool deck, and four Mariner 64 weatherproof on-wall speakers for the lower sport court.
Each zone is also listed independently in Sonos, so music can be synchronized across all areas or split up depending on who is listening in each area.

Outdoor speaker retrofit in progress! It’s much easier to run wires before all the plants go in, but we don’t mind doing it after if we have to. And it will all be worth it in the end because these Sonance speakers sound AMAZING. This customer is going to love listening to music in their backyard this summer.

This client had a custom office desk built by and asked if we could help re-install their computer equipment. We worked with California Closets to make sure that we had all the space and openings that we would need, and they knocked it out of the park. This desk turned out beautiful. We were able to install all of his gear with no issue and had him up and running the same day.

Running wire is not hard, but doing it right does take skill. We map out all of our paths before we start working, we use D-rings to keep runs neat, and we clearly label every single wire. By doing this, we are able to save time and cause less damage when we come back to finish after the drywall has been put in. I can’t even begin to count how often we run into issues that could have been prevented by proper planning and ex*****on. So take it from us, it’s worth doing it right the first time.

Sonos just announced their newest product: the Ray sound bar! Available for preorder now, and shipping next month. We can’t wait to get these in our showroom so we can test them out and let you know what we think.

This is a home we did a couple of years ago. We were recently back in the unit updating a couple of components and were pleased to find that the Elan control system works just as good as the day we installed it. Reliability is a major consideration to many of our customers, and do not disappoint.

This customer manages their home using an Elan control system. We were able to extend that to the backyard by installing a Pentair IntelliConnect pool automation system.
Now they are able to control all of their pool equipment, monitor their connected pool products, and set schedules all from their phone.
We also installed a Sonance 8.1 outdoor audio system. If you have been following us for a while you know we are big fans of outdoor audio. Seriously, if you don’t have an outdoor system you need to get that fixed.

We recently had the opportunity to install this beautiful 98” Samsung Neo QLED 4K Smart TV and we could not wait to share it with you. For reference, the TV on the right is a 65” (also a Samsung, also great looking).
A standard-sized TV can look small and/or disproportionate in a large room, and in many places a projector won’t work or doesn’t make sense.
We decided on a dual-display setup for this customer because they wanted to be able to keep up with all of their favorite sports, but it is also a great option for families that have kids who like to play video games.

For this customer, we went with a pair of MartinLogan Motion 40i floorstanding speakers. Not only do they sound amazing, they also look great and blend into the room’s existing aesthetic seamlessly. Following up on our last post, here are the hidden speakers we installed in this customer’s backyard!
We went with a Sonance Patio Series outdoor system for around the pool and a pair of Speakercraft rock speakers for the patio.
The Sonance Patio speakers pack big sound into a small package, allowing them to fill the area with sound yet virtually disappear from sight. We threw in an in-ground subwoofer just for good measure to give the music an extra kick at parties.
The Speakercraft 6” rock speakers allow the customer to get living room quality sound outdoors, while being even more discreet than standard outdoor speakers. They also come in a wide variety of styles, which allowed us to blend them in seamlessly with their existing landscaping.

Modern problems require modern solutions.
This customer had a beautiful custom cabinet made, however all of the wires from their AV equipment made it look like a rat’s nest.
We installed a slide out rotating rack to keep all of their gear neat and organized while still being easily accessible.
We then upgraded their audio to a MartinLogan 5.1 surround sound system powered by a Denon AVR-X4700H receiver.
Next item on the list is to replace the TV with a projector!
