What began in 1989 in a pub in Northern London has now spread to over 488 cities in 49 countries -- and it's still growing! Greendrinks brings together a lively mix of people from all walks of life: academics, NGOs, local businesses and government agencies. The goal is to create an organic, self-organizing network where everyone is welcome. It's a great way to catch up with people you already know
Our featured nonprofit for September is AFSP Maine. The American Foundation for Su***de Prevention- Maine Chapter aims to save lives and bring hope to those affected by su***de. They do this by bringing together people from all backgrounds who want to prevent su***de in our communities.

As a reminder, this event is happening on June 11th and will be at the Little Diamond Island casino on Little Diamond Island.
You MUST arrive at the Casco Bay Ferry Terminal by 5:30 pm; the chartered ferry service is leaving from the Portland Casco Bay Lines at 5:45PM (your ferry fare is included in the cost of your ticket). ⏰
IMPORTANT INFO:
- Plan to arrive at the Casco Bay Ferry Terminal no later than 5:30 PM. If you arrive after this time, we may not be able to get you boarded on the ferry.
- If you miss the chartered 5:45 ferry, there is another regularly scheduled ferry at 6:00 PM. You can take this boat to Little Diamond Island but will have to buy an additional ticket. If you miss both ferries, you can hire a water taxi.
- Parking in the Old Port is very challenging in the summer so please allow yourself plenty of time to park or plan to pay at one of the lots in the area.
- The chartered boat leaving Little Diamond Island departs at 8:30PM. There is also a regularly scheduled boat that leaves at 8:05PM.
- If you’d like to skip the chartered ferry, you can also hire a water taxi. Please note, there is not a special price if you choose to not take the ferry. ⛴️
