Finding purpose is a great big part of establishing sense of self...what nonprofits are you supporting? *Reminder, support isn't always money based-volunteering time or sharing a social media post are also great ways to show support!

A beautiful day for some delicious social justice/advocacy with Ben & Jerry's free scoops and banned books tour at Open Books Pensacola (their merch and mission is super cool as well)! 😎

Advocacy and activism is a key part of social work and just one of many reasons why I am proud to be an LCSW 🙌

Popping in to express my big sister pride again, my younger brother got married back in November and the photos of their big day just landed ❤
For part of their gift, I volunteered my artistic ability combined with his awesome bride's vision for some unconventional and unique bouquets 💐 and they turned out so well! I have some training in flower arrangement and experience with bridal bouquets but man, would you look at how gorgeous that bride and groom are?!
(me) created the bouquets and boutonierres for the big day 😬

When there is an epic couple getting married, they need an epic cake topper! This is the final product from the personalized cake topper project 😎 I was able to create a silhouette from an actual picture of the couple and add 17 Kinkajous, hairless cat, genet, alligator, tegu, snake, and a genet to represent all the animals that are loved unconditionally at the residence ❤

So...has 2021 been kicking anyone else's butt? 🙋‍♀️ Same here. I finally made time to finish this project that I started almost a year ago which feels like quite an accomplishment! It's a mixed media piece with encased dried flowers, clear salvaged glass from an older home in Pensacola on a white glass background. It's rustic and funky! Let me know if this unique piece needs to be yours 😎

It's a good reminder to cherish each day because none of us are getting out of this thing alive 🤪

It's not everyday that I have the honor of designing wedding cake decorations that involve 17 Kinkajous, Owl Monkey, Genet, Sphynx cat, Argentine Black and White Tegu, a Cobra, Alligator, and an awesome couple who may actually have more animals than we do 💁‍♀️

A quick post to say...I am still kicking! This is the first piece that I have been able to do in a few months due to life (in general) and pursuing yet another step forward in my career. As things fall into place I hope to post more 👩‍🎨
