My cat, Mama, died a year ago today. She was my best friend for almost half my life, and I miss her terribly. Sitting down with my guitar helps me grieve and get my feelings out the best way I know how, and this is the piece of music that came out as a result of that.

It’s been almost a year since the lyric video for “The Hedonic Treadmill” was released, and I’m super pumped that it has over 3k views! In a world that's become obsessed with being as busy as possible, I feel like a lot of people are suffering from burnout these days, and my hope is that the lyrics inspire listeners to take a step back and focus on the things that really matter to them in their lives.
