Progressive/Post music from Houston, TX

We started this project on January 1st, 2014, driven by a collective passion for creating atmospheric music that would evoke a range of emotions. Ty and Justin's tinkering on acoustic guitars eventually led us to connect with Aaron and Ricky, who shared our vision and became integral parts of the journey. Together, we embarked on a path filled with countless hours of writing, rehearsing, and soul-searching.
The early days were not always glamorous. We recall huddling together in a frigid storage unit, desperately seeking warmth to nurture our artistic expression. As time went on, the weather turned scorching hot, but our dedication remained unwavering. By the end of 2014, we had taken our music to stages across the Houston area, pouring our hearts out to live audiences. We were incredibly fortunate to participate in two rounds of a local battle of the bands circuit, and thanks to your unwavering support, we emerged victorious, claiming 1st place in both events. It was your belief in us that fueled our passion and allowed us to fund our first studio demo, "In Your Absence."
In 2015, our journey continued to flourish as we were honored with the title of "Rock Band of the Year" by KTBZ-FM 94.5 The Buzz Texas Music Awards. We were humbled by this recognition and emboldened to push our creative boundaries even further. In early 2016, we stepped into the studio to record our first full-length album, "Affinity," a project that resonated deeply with us and, we hope, with each of you.
Since the release of "Affinity," we have been blessed with numerous opportunities to create, collaborate, and connect. We have had the privilege of recording some of our favorite songs, producing visually captivating music videos for our original work, and sharing the stage with incredible local talent and some of our most cherished touring bands. But beyond our own achievements, we have been especially grateful for the chance to amplify the talent of others. Every track, video, logo, album art, packaging, promotional photo, concert poster, and musical feature bearing our name has been a product of our in-house efforts or the incredible work of our closest friends and family. We cannot emphasize enough how genuinely thankful we are for everyone who has contributed to this project.
To all who have purchased our merchandise, music, and tickets, thank you. Your support has allowed us to pursue our dreams and create art that resonates with your souls. To everyone who has joined us for our live performances, dancing and singing along, your energy and enthusiasm have fueled our spirits and made every show a cherished memory. And to those who voted for us, recognizing our passion and dedication through various awards and accolades, your faith in us has been an incredible motivator, spurring us forward during both the highs and lows.
As we close this chapter of our lives, we want you to know that the impact you've had on our artistic journey is immeasurable. The memories we've made, the connections we've forged, and the joy we've shared will forever be etched in our hearts. While this may be the end of our time as a band, our love for music and our creative spirit will never fade. We will each embark on new paths, exploring different avenues of expression, but the bond we formed through our shared passions.
Next Friday, we leave you with one final offering. A remastered and rerecorded version of our album “Affinity”. This version captures our true vision for the record, and we hope that it not only continues to resonate with those that have previously enjoyed the material but also brings something new to those who are just discovering it. Little did we anticipate that the opening track of this album, "Farewell, Moon," and the closing track, "Swan Song," would bear such poignant significance. Life has a way of weaving its poetic tapestry when we least expect it.
Please continue to follow this page, as it will be used to release new music from under a new project.
We sincerely hope that our final words to bid you a heartfelt farewell and convey our profound gratitude for the extraordinary nine years we have shared.
Until we meet again,
Farewell.
