Hope you got an application in if you needed to 🙏 SunSmart has supported so many wonderful opportunities in our zone and local clubs this year and previous years. Don’t delay when they re-open in 2024.

Tennis West SunSmart Grants, supported by Healthway, have been a valuable affiliation benefit to clubs for 12 years.

The increasing recognition of the grant's value is evident in the 2023/24 cycle, which has seen the highest funding ever allocated to support club events. With 86 club and coach applications, including 69 from regional areas.

With this, we have had to close SunSmart Grants. If your club missed out this year, rest assured that the opportunity will return next year. Stay tuned to our social media channels for an update in early 2024 on the next FY opportunities.

Our 2023 Two Dogs Junior Tennis Tournament is next Sunday. Get your nominations in ASAP so that the organisers can plan the groups appropriately. It looks like being a warm one, so playing with a number of different parameters at the moment.....

Meckering Junior Tennis Tournament is at capacity!
If you have a child desperate to play please still contact Aimee Leeson and it can be considered, depending on the age group. With only 4 courts to run the tournament, we need to cap our numbers otherwise the tournament will go all day long with long breaks between matches.
Please don't be disheartened! The Merredin Districts Junior Tournament is Sunday 26th November and a great tournament to nominate for 🎾 Organise to car pool with friends and make a day of it by visiting the Merredin pool after the tournament 😀

: Wed 21st February (primary schools event) @ Beverley TC
: Fri 1st March (secondary schools event) @ Cunderdin TC.

Nominations close 15th February. If your child plays tennis and you want to make sure your school enters a team, ask your school to put it in their term 1 calendar now.
