FROM THE DESK OF THE CEO - MESSAGE FOR 2019

At NID we are very blessed and grateful for the impact that we could make in the lives of our beneficiaries during 2018. All this was achieved with the support of all our donors, customers and friends with the blessing of our Lord.

We are planning on an even bigger impact in 2019 by striving for excellence in the services that we offer. We are dreaming of several added services and support to our deaf beneficiaries. Apart from our existing care, training and support services, we hope to extend that support to the whole being of every beneficiary. Our wish is for every deaf person to develop the mental and emotional strength together with all other life skills so that they can take their place on an equal footing with the rest of society. We have experienced beautiful examples of Deaf persons achieving exactly that, several of them in our employment, but also those employed in the general labour market. They are living examples that deafness and hearing loss does not prevent you from gainful employment.

We wish all our donors, friends and partners a joyous and prosperous 2019!
