Thank you for the well wishes and support for yesterday’s race!
It’s been 4 years since we’ve been to Hickory but it was just as awesome as I remembered!
Ended up bringing home a 7th place finish—not exactly what we were hoping for but it could have always been worse. Due to wet and dreary weather, we didn’t get much practice and missed the setup just a bit AND the driver was Definitely a little rusty with only running 2 races this year! 😜

The most important thing—we all had a blast and it was so awesome to have the family there!
Huge thanks to everyone that came to help and cheer us on—it means the world!

Ashley and the kids had a once in a lifetime surprise when the 2022 NASCAR Champion Joey Logano, his wife and kids sat right beside them in the grandstands!! 😲

It’s Raceday at Hickory Motor Speedway!
So excited—Qualified 4th out of a stout 19 car field!

Hoping I can hold onto the steering wheel for 100 laps and be there to fight for win at the end! 😜

Icing on the cake—I’ve finally got my entire little family at the track with me!

Beyond excited to let everyone know we’re headed back to the ol’ stomping grounds—Hickory Motor Speedway this Saturday (12th) for the Fall Brawl!!
It’s been several years since we’ve been to Hickory but I’m hopeful we can pick up right where we left off with a trip to the winners circle! 🏆🏁

North Wilkesboro Speedway—What an incredible experience. It was absolutely surreal to be in that facility and on track where so many of the Greatest drivers to ever do it have raced.
To my entire family and all who help make this possible—I cannot thank you enough!!
A special thanks to Triple A Electric for coming on board for this race and supporting our efforts!

The car was Really fast when we unloaded for practice Monday and that carried over to qualifying on race day where we qualified 3rd out of a stout 33 car field! Unfortunately that speed didn’t carry over to the race and we ended up finishing just outside the top 10.
We race on used tires purchased from the track and in a ‘luck of the draw’ scenario, the tires we got were almost worn out before we ever bolted them on for the race.. We knew the race would be a challenge running these tires but were hopeful the balanced setup and speed would prevail. Unfortunately it did not as the tires completely went away early and we fell back through the field.
On the bright side, the car is in one piece, we all had an incredible time and everyone made it home safe!
