I've been on this health journey for almost 10+ years. It took me 5 years to lose 50 pounds and I've managed to keep it off BUT it takes work. I love to eat but being healthy and happy is what matters most. Exercise & nutrition are definitely the key! I'll be sharing health tips, recipes, nutritional information, fitness programs, travel ideas that work for me and could help you on YOUR journey to being healthy and happy too! I'm not an expert, just a girl who likes to share!
Up too early so I opted for 30 minutes workout and 20 minutes of the lower body with my favorite super trainer ! These 5k early morning walks all summer have a hip giving me some attitude. π

π± Gut Health! π±
Did you know stress and anxiety play a huge role in your gut health? Apparently, Iβve been more stressed & anxious than I realized these past few years. π€·πΌββοΈ
4-5 months ago, I increased my protein intake to gain muscle mass (I had goals!), but my body didnβt respond as expected. Instead, I developed intense joint pain and more fluff than muscle gains. After extensive testing with a naturopath, I discovered my body developed intolerances to many foods I was consuming. π Milk products, egg whites, casein, pea protein, peanuts, cashews, potatoes, corn, oats, yeast, chocolateβ¦the list goes on! π€ͺ
Now, Iβm on an intense anti-inflammatory diet, cutting out these foods with hopes of:
1) Healing my gut issues
2) Losing the fluff as quickly as it crept up to be able to see the muscle definition
3) Finding relief from the joint pain
Itβs been challenging, especially when Iβm away, but Iβm committed to making serious changes over the next few weeks! ππ»

How many conversations have you had, with your friends, your family, your self in the mirror that are filled with self-doubt....How many times does the conversation end there because of it? π³
What if SHE had listened to her self-doubt and not stepped on that stage?! Where would she be now?
Many of the most inspiring people in the world were not born into greatness. They created their lives with hard work, focus, drive and dedication to a vision. But it all starts with a decision ... the decision to give it a shot! π―
My wish for you all is that you listen to your heart instead of your self-doubt. Be brave, and try something new ... Choose to believe in yourself, even when other people don't β€π
Make sure you're surrounding yourself with people that you don't need to try to convince to support you no matter what you're doing, or how crazy your dreams sound.

Working out is hard. The weights are heavy, any type of cardio sucks and kale is a vile w**d.
Alsoβ¦feeling and actually being unhealthy is hard. Not liking what you see in the mirror sucks. Having no energy to live your life to its fullest is no way to enjoy life.
