This past April when I was in Hawaii visiting Luke and Danielle, we got into the conversation of health and fitness.🏃‍♀️

I have been very on and off about my fitness journey for years. I’m either super into it or it takes a backseat.

After Luke had a serious chat with me and explained how important it was for me to take care of myself so I can live long and be healthy, I got back home and got to work.

He suggested that I join Orange Theory because he thought I would love it. And I do!🧡

I joined early this summer and I just hit my 50th workout!

So today I want to encourage you to do something that will either begin or continue your fitness journey for you. 💪🏼

Here’s to completing 100 workouts in 2024! 🎉

Red is the color of the season! 😍

It’s an eye catching color that can instantly brighten up dark winter fashion while adding a touch of holiday spirit. 🎄

The holidays are the perfect time of year to visit with family, eat good food, and update your family photos.

If you like having a special outfit for your holiday get-togethers or just want to make sure you pick the right pieces from your closet, then these five tips are for you:

👠Make sure your pieces have an elastic waistband. Especially, if there is going to be food!

👗Pick a color that looks great on you. There's nothing worse than looking back at family photos and realizing the color you wore doesn't compliment you.

🧦Check your socks and stockings to make sure they are hole free! You'll most likely be taking your shoes off during the day to get comfortable.

💍Keep your jewelry to a minimum so it doesn't get in the way of cooking or playing charades with your family and friends.

💕And most important of all, be yourself. Wear what makes you feel good and feel like yourself. If that means dressing up a bit or a lot, then do it!

A little reminder for you today! ❤️

There are so many verses in the Bible that showcase God's love for His children. When I read them, it's a BIG reminder that becoming more like Jesus means I need to give myself some grace.

Here are a few of my favorites lately:

✨For the Lord your God is gracious and compassionate. He will not turn his face from you if you return to him. ~2 Chronicles

✨For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and all are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus. ~Romans 3:23-24

✨For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God. ~Ephesians 2:8

✨Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus, because through Christ Jesus the law of the Spirit who gives life has set you free from the law of sin and death. ~Romans 8:1-2

God is so compassionate and loving towards us, so shouldn't we offer ourselves that same kindness in our thoughts and beliefs?

Be kind to yourself today and remember that you are so loved, seen, and forgiven. God calls you worthy, so walk in it today! 💕

Faux leather is all the rage right now!😍

Here are 3 easy ways to bring this trend into your wardrobe:

1️⃣Wear faux leather pants with a coordinating top to create a column of color.

2️⃣Wear faux leather vest with jeans. Add a tailored white shirt for a more casual look.

3️⃣Wear a chunky knit sweater over your favorite faux leather pants.

Let's talk about ways to level up your loungewear!

Here are some of my favorite ways to do so:

🔸A simple way to take your loungewear up a notch is by adding a vest. Pair your favorite knit joggers or a wide leg pant with a fur vest for that extra touch of luxe, or try a puffy vest for a chic, on-the-go look.

🔸Do you live in your leggings this time of year? Take your tunic and leggings and trade your house shoes for a fabulous tall boot. Adding a boot gives your look some instant elegance.

🔸Do you have a matching loungewear set? If you want to get away with wearing a matching set out on the town, try adding a button-up white blouse to give refinement to the set.

Sweaters are downright cozy, but they can also be tricky to pair with the right jewelry.

Here’s my tip: pair chunky necklaces with chunky sweaters.

Tiny necklaces can tend to get lost when they are paired with bigger sweaters. Don't be afraid of matching your bold and big necklaces with your chunky sweaters this year! 😍

Florida means lots of memories and amazing friends. Lucie McAllister Regensdorf and I go wayyyyy back. Ohhhh the memories we share. We’ve been through thick and thin together. She was the first to know when I was pregnant with Luke, the first to cry AND laugh with. I was the first she told when she got accepted to law school at 30. We celebrated at Denneys with ice cream sundaes in South Miami. Yeah, we’re fancy like that!🎉🥰 Today we celebrated over 35 years of friendship. 🥰🥰
