Greetings from the Bengaluru Study Club!
As you may be aware, the First ITI India Congress is being hosted in Bangalore on Dec 1-2, 2017. The preparations were started back in May this year and it is well on schedule.
Completely in sync with ITI principles, the first congress of its kind in the subcontinent, promises to deliver high quality scientific content based on evidence based clinical implant dentistry. We also have a session for young ITI and have an evening informal banquet for catching up with old friends and making new ones.
The theme of the congress is “Integrity over Integration”: and this underlies the reputation that the ITI has built over the last 36 years of scientific rigour combined with concern for the welfare of patients.
Headed by Dr. Stephen Chen, the president elect of the ITI, so far the following international faculty have confirmed their availability: Dr. Al-Nawas Bilal, Dr. Bhat Joe, Dr. Bhide Vinay, Dr. Kämmerer Peer, Dr. Shahdad Shakeel and Dr. Srinivasan Murali. A few more international speakers are trying to block their dates. Of course, we will have notable ITI faculty from India too.
The congress is a limited attendance event targeting 250 registrations. ITI members and fellows are given the first preference and can early-bird register for the congress with INR 10,000. For non-ITI members the early bird registration is 15,000.
This mail is the first communication regarding the event. The first call brochure is underway and will be sent out by early next month. We request the ITI members to mark this event in their calendar and register for the event by taking advantage of the early bird offer which will end in March 2017. We also depend on the ITI members to spread the word around to interested participants.
