OFF The CLOCK

Classic rock & pop cover band spanning 60's, 70's, and 80's, something for everyone!

Off the Clock's roots trace back to 2016 when we first connected at the School of Rock (SOR). Yes, there's an Adult Program at SOR, and it was there that we, a group of musicians with day jobs and a shared after-hours passion for music, found our common ground. Guiding us on this musical journey was none other than our lead guitarist and rock star, John Siegle, who ran the SOR program and played a

Thank you for your enthusiasm and support for our event! For those of you that are less familiar with OTC, we’d like to take the opportunity to introduce ourselves and provide some context on the band’s history…

Off the Clock emerged in 2016 at the School of Rock (SOR), uniting musicians with day jobs and a shared passion for after-hours music. Lead guitarist John Siegle, a rock star in his own right, led the SOR program, propelling us into action. In 2018, fueled by SOR experience, we formed a band at The Shed in Highland Park, a prime spot for musical collaboration. Founding members include Steve Amiel, Ginny Cochran, Dave Lutrey, Steve Martin, Evelyn Olson, John Siegle, and Kim Weiner. The lineup has shifted over the years, but three originals remain —Evelyn Olson on vocals/keyboard, John Siegle on vocals/lead guitar, and Kim Weiner on keyboards—joined by newcomers Rob Kritzmire on drums/vocals and Chris O'Neill on vocals/bass guitar/guitar. We evolve, expanding our repertoire with upbeat classic rock and pop, inviting guest musicians for freshness and fun. Our mission: revel in perfecting our music, cherish band friendships with a shared love for music, and deliver a show that resonates across generations.
