ProVelo Super League (PSL), is excited to confirm that the Squadron Energy Grafton to Inverell Cycle Classic one-day classic will feature on the PSL calendar on 15th and 16th of March, 2025.

Matt Wilson Co-Founder of the PSL mentioned, "These one day classics are an integral part of the Australian road racing pathway and steeped in history. To include the Squadron Energy Grafton to Inverell in our inaugural season calendar is a great privilege and we’re really looking forward to bringing the PSL to the region and seeing how our teams and riders fare on this gruelling course”.

Grafton to Inverell Event Director, Chris Thompson said “We are very excited to be a part of the ProVelo Super League next year. The Squadron Energy Grafton to Inverell is an iconic race on the Australian cycling calendar that has enjoyed a long and successful history and has the reputation as the toughest one day cycling race in the country."

SBS Australia the home of cycling will broadcast ProVelo Super League live in 2025 👏🏼

We are excited to announce the Harbour City GP will be held from Friday, March 7 to Sunday, March 9 signalling the return of elite road cycling to the city of Sydney 🔥

The Harbour City GP will feature three days/four stages of racing across the Harbour City.

The ProVelo Super League is the ‘Road to the WorldTour’ for Australia’s emerging road cyclists and the former NSW Grand Prix Series which was last hosted in 2013 was a testament to this. Many of Australia’s most successful riders progressed their international careers on the streets of Sydney including current and past professional cyclists, PSL Ambassadors Mitch Docker and Tiffany Cromwell along with fellow Australians, Robbie McEwan, Amanda Spratt, Caleb Ewan, Kate Bates, Michael Matthews and Sarah Roy.

The Australians racing 2024 Tour de France Femmes avec Zwift | AusCycling Nine Australians will be at the start line this year as they take on the third edition of the Tour de France Femmes.

AN EXCITING FIRST FOR AUSTRALIAN CYCLING!

ProVelo Super League’s Gerry Ryan announces that Stagiaire Contracts will be on offer for PSL in 2025, propelling Australian cyclists to the WorldTour.

The PSL U23 men’s and women’s winners will receive Stagiaire positions with the Team Jayco AlUla and Liv AlUla Jayco teams.

This announcement underscores PSL’s dedication to the sport in Australia, and our investment in the pathway and development of young Australian riders.

Introducing our next major appointment as Karin Jones joins the team as ProVelo Super League Event Technical Director.

Karin is one of Australia’s most experienced event operators within the sport with over 25 years experience.

Karin’s resume includes the 2006 Commonwealth Games, World Championships for Road, Track and MTB, Bay Crits, Herald Sun Tours ,NRS races Tour of Gippsland and Melbourne to Warrnambool as well as the Dirty Warrny and more recently RADL GRVL.

Living in Gippsland in Victoria and a mum to three boys who have all been involved within the sport at varying capacities, Karin’s passion for cycling goes beyond the job.

Her passion for developing the next generation of cyclists whilst ensuring longevity for the sport at the local and national level is what drives her.

You’d be hard pressed to find someone within the Australian cycling community both on and off the bike that doesn’t know Karin Jones. Her ability to build and foster strong relationships across all levels of the sport, corporate business, government and governing bodies coupled with her work ethic is the reason for her success.

ProVelo Super League is excited to announce a key appointment to the team – Zac Reynolds commenced this week as our Commercial Sales Lead.

Zac is Sydney-based a sports marketing and commercial leader with nearly 20 years experience across a variety of sports. He has been an integral part of senior leadership teams within the ultra-competitive Australian wagering industry – having managed national marketing and content campaigns across all the major events.

In 2019, Zac moved to the US and launched a sports marketing agency and, more recently, a sports omni-channel media company. He has successfully expanded both companies into multinational entities and has built strong, long-lasting relationships with an array of global sports influencers and C-level executives.

Zac has secured commercial partnerships for some of the world's top sports companies including TAB, Churchill Downs (home of the Kentucky Derby), Hong Kong Jockey Club, Cipher, Metabilia and WSC.

Huge win by Liam Walsh and Team BridgeLane at Paris-Troyes UCI 🔥

A large group was vying for the win, with Liam out-sprinting the pack to secure his first European UCI victory 🏆

Liam mentioned after the race "It was definitely a team win for sure, I couldn't have done this on my own."

"Curtis (Harrison) marked the moves over the last few climbs and dropped me off, he took me from maybe 25th or 30th position at 600m to go to right to the front."

"Couldn't have done it without him but also Tristan and Jack for riding the front all the way into the last few climbs for maybe 30 or 40 minutes – I'm just so glad I could finish the job and repay all their hard work."
