Tikva UK
Tikva is a rescue aid and educational organization saving the lives of at-risk Jewish children and relieving the suffering of impoverished Jewish families.
Meet Yulia Roiter โจ
Born in 2001, Yulia has been at Tikva since 2003.
Yulia's family faced significant challenges. Her living conditions were dire, with no electricity or running water.
Yulia's innocence was stripped away by the cruel hands of circumstance.
Tikva's search and rescue team found Yulia in a state orphanage and brought her home.
Yulia's resilience is a beacon of hope. Her story shows the urgent need for intervention and compassion in the face of unimaginable despair.

What have we been doing to help our adult refugees take their next step into employment?
Our primary focus has been on assisting and encouraging entrepreneurial opportunities. We have established multiple programmes to assist them in finding full time work and regain their independence.
Many of our adult refugees can now happily say that they can provide for themselves... and for that we are so proud!

Meet Bella โจ
Bella came to Tikva as newborn baby. If Bella was taken to the state orphanage, she would never have survived.
Bella has organic brain damage. Her physical and mental state are years behind her age.
Nevertheless, Bella has come a long way and we couldn't be prouder.
Bella can now walk on her own... she can even run and jump too.
Bella still needs lots of help, and for this she needs a safe and positive environment which we can provide for her here at Tikva.

Tikva UK rises to extreme challenges of war on two fronts The charity that rescues children from neglect and abuse in Odesa, Ukraine, celebrates another year of extraordinary achievement with a dinner that raised ยฃ1.4m
On Monday, Tikva had the honour of hosting its โFamily Dinnerโ a night of incredible speakers and entertainment.
Nobu Hotel London Portman Square was filled with our nearest and dearest, who came in order to show their generous support for our work.
The Duchess of York Sarah Ferguson addressed the guests and shared with us the importance of giving back and how every single donation goes a long way in changing the lives of children and adults in Ukraine, Romania and Israel.
It was truly heartwarming to hear about the success stories of those who have been helped by Tikva. Yuliia, who has been with Tikva since she was a child, spoke about how life-changing Tikva has been for her. Children who were once living on the streets are now thriving in school, graduating, working and creating new families of their own. As Yuliia stated "You, our extended family gives us Tikva, gives us hope.
