Luey is such a sweetheart, with a touch of attitude at times 😉

Luey is a Senior MALE Chinchilla in search of an experienced chinchilla home. He is full of personality and is SO smart! He does best housed by himself as Luey has shown to be very dominant and nippy towards other chins.

The little hooman mom said was coming soon is HERE! 😍

Finigin here on behalf of mom (ya know the hooman that runs this place!) to share an update that my new little hooman has arrived home no longer in mom's belly and I finally got to meet them...and I love them SO much! Little Girl Hooman was born 4.14.24 💜

All hoomans here are doing well, are now home, and navigating this new chapter that is unfolding. All critters here at My 'Little' Animal Kingdom Rescue continue to be oh SO spoiled while they await their forever families to find them, but we do remain closed to new Critter Intakes.

🐾 THANK YOU ALL for your continued patience and kindness during this time. I am slowly working to catch up on all inquiries that have been received over the past two weeks 😳. We are absolutely heartbroken to share with you all that Ferguson has passed away 😭

While he was taking his medication very well and we were working diligently to determine a long term treatment plan, his body had had enough. He passed away in our arms last night, with his brother Charlie next to him the entire time.

We cannot thank you all enough for the support you showed sweet Ferguson and his brother over the past couple days. You helped us raise a total of $480 of the total veterinary costs ($811.30) we incurred and sincerely appreciate this. 💜

We also want to acknowledge that some of you have sent goodies via our Amazon and Chewy wishlists, specifically for Ferguson. These items will be given to his brother Charlie to enjoy when they arrive.

Charlie is grieving as he was extremely bonded to his brother and we will continue to monitor him very closely during this very difficult time. 💙

Ferguson here to personally thank those who have sent him healing and good vibes over the past couple days! 💗

At this time we are awaiting x ray interpretations to confirm the exact cause of his eye troubles, but currently it appears a teeth issue may be our culprit. 😫

What we do know:

* The eye will need to be removed. This will require surgery, estimate for cost unknown at this time.

*Unless we can determine and treat the cause of the eye trouble, even with removing his eye, an abscess will continue to refill again and again. How uncomfortable! 😵

*IF the cause is dental related, he will require a second surgery in conjunction with the eye removal. 🫣

*While we await x ray interpretations, Ferguson is on quite a few meds to keep his eye from becoming worse and his pain managed. Charlie remains right next to his brother for emotional support as well ❤️

Charlie and Ferguson are not only two of the cutest bunnies around, but are SO SWEET and have resided here at the rescue for over a year! Just look at those smooshy faces! 😍

Unfortunately one of these big buns has developed a serious eye concern that will require immediate medical attention to determine treatment and next steps for care.

How CUTE are these two!? 😍

Mama CiCi joined the rescue in 2023 after being caught wandering around a park. A week later she gave us some little ones - Rose being one of those littles. 💜

Mama CiCi is presumably around a year old, although her exact age and history is unclear. She is very shy and nervous at first, but very sweet and has never shown signs of aggression!

Rose was born June 8th, 2023. She is also shy at first but adjusts to new environments and people quickly and has a very curious personality! She loves her Mama but also does well with other bunnies.

These girls both do well with other bunnies and do not have to be adopted together. However if not adopted together, they must join homes that have another bunny that they can work to bond with.

Meg here is a FEMALE Guinea Pig around 3 years old who is not the biggest fan of handling, but is very curious as to what is going on around her. Meg does best with a submissive housemate, or in a small herd as she is nippy with new guineas she meets.
