It is our goal that all women know about their option to have a doula and that all women can have access to quality doula care.
We are a group of doulas with similar philosophies that have come together to help educate and support women and their partners during pregnancy, labor and post-partum, in addition to providing a support system for all South Florida doulas. There were over 18000 births in Palm Beach County alone and only a handful had a doula. Many women are missing a wonderful and integral part of their birth sup
port team. We welcome all South Florida Doulas who want to be a part of creating this doula community by fostering a sense of unity, and who are willing to work together in supporting each other, so that together we can help educate others about the importance and beauty of the doula role! There are a lot of wonderful doulas that women can choose from. In unity we can get the word out and we can all help women have a beautiful birth experience. Membership is open to all South Florida Doulas: The South Florida Doula Cooperative is committed to providing professional, ethical birth support; those found in violation of this policy will no longer qualify for membership.
