Welcome to a new season of netball in 2018. Today we had a great win again New Plymouth old boys. π Next week we are playing the Inglewood club at 2 court 1 so come along and support Inglewood. Let's go team. Please share this post or get friends and family to follow this page to help support us on this seasons journey. Thank-you π
Great finish to the full season. Coming out 13th by winning the final against St Oran's collage. Which also puts us as the second top netball team in Taranaki, which is a huge Achievement for us as a little school. Thankyou to all the supporters and parents that have helped out this season as well as our coach and umpires. It has been great to be captain of this years netball A team and looking forward to next years season. β¨
We had two awesome games today. Going strong but losing against whanganui high but Winning against Sacred Heart New Plymouth college. This is a great achievement for our little schools a team as they are a prem team same as the rest of the teams we have faced. So I'm so glad to say our final is tomorrow playing for 13-14th out of 32 teams in the A grade π great stuff girls keep it up πͺπΌ
Tournament so far has been a blast. We have won two and lost two but we have made it into top 16 so far. So after tomorrow we will know if we will be playing for top 8 or playing for 9th to 16th. So congratulations to the A team for making it this far. Will keep you updated how we go from now to Friday. πΈ
This Season has been great this year and we are lucky to say we have finished 3rd in the top grade. We did very well as a team and I loved every moment leading them all. We still have lower north islands which is coming up so fast and this year it happens to be in New Plymouth. We all can't wait and thanks to everyone who has helped us get so far this year it's been amazing. β€οΈ
Still doing very well, playing great as a team. Still in grading hoping for the best.
Another great game on Saturday with a win in grading which could keep us in first grade. Can't wait to see if we do.
Had an awesome game Saturday facing one of the top teams in our grade but sadly we came away with a loss by 3 points. We played our hearts out and still came away with smiles on our faces. This week we play at 12pm at the waiwakaiho courts. Also playing one of our hardest games yet to stay in top grade. πͺπΌπ€
Seasons started which is great ! Doing very well in grading with last week we drew against npgh senior A and won the second game 26-24. Looking forward to the season with the new team, while also playing Wednesday nights in Inglewood at 6 pm against high school prem teams and including 6 high school teams around Taranaki. Will update scores and times if you ever want to come and join/support Inglewood highschools senior A netball team. β¨
Come down to shoprite today to get a sausage and a raffle ticket to support the girls at lower north island tournament 2016
We are off to a great start this season!! Today we played in the opening tournament winning all three games 22-7, 29-9 and 28-8. All the girls played great especially for 7 new players this year and was great to see new combinations being made. Very exciting start and can't wait for the first game of the season on may 7th. βΊοΈ
So after a hectic week, Inglewood High School Senior A has finished 16th out of 32 A grade teams! That's a massive improvement on last years 22nd placing π It's been a week full of ups and downs, (goose) laughs and giggles, Kmart adventures and Turbonation. What a journey this last week and season has been with the girls. A huge thank you to Hannah and Mrs King for putting up with us, feeding us and keeping us in line. To the five other year 13 girls leaving this year, I hope this week has been a good send off! It's been a privilege playing in this team over the last four years and I wish next years team good luck π also, another last thank you to Mrs King for all her hard work over the time she's been at Inglewood High and her commitment to netball. Your organisation skills, manual hill starts and calm nature will be missed!!

Tough tough game this afternoon against Hawera High School. Even score for majority of the game with no team really getting too far ahead. In the end we went down by 1 (19-18). Tomorrow we play off for 15/16th out of 32 teams in A Grade. That means there are 4 Taranaki school teams in the top 16 for LNISS which is a great achievement π
Another rainy game this morning, going down 30-17 to Wanganui High School. Meeting Hawera High School this afternoon at 3:45pm for our second to last game this season π
Rough game against Scared Heart, going down 31-14. 6 games done, 3 to go π
Went down 20-12 against New Plymouth Girls High this morning ππΌ Low scoring game which shows how the ball was up and down the court many times between goals. However we won the second half with goal difference! Our second game today is at 3:45 vs Sacred Heart Lower Hutt.
IHS Senior A LNISS Tournament team 2015 π
Another tough game this afternoon against St Mary's Wellington. We lost 32-11 in gross conditions and slippery courts. They are a very good side (usually in the final) who we played really well against βΊοΈ New Plymouth girls high tomorrow morning π
TOP 16!!! In the rain that felt like needles, and gusty gale force winds we beat Iona College 27 to 9 π we have made top 16 for 2015 π
Had a tough second game this afternoon against Wellington East Girls High. The score didn't reflect the game, though we had a great attitude which resulted in a clean game on our behalf with our heads held high the whole game! Early start tomorrow morning!! π
And we are off to a great start! A win against Nga Tawa this morning, 29-10, has meant hopefully all our nerves have gone away and we are set for the rest of week π another positive was everyone getting on court! π
Good luck to all the Inglewood high school winter sport teams competing in the Lower North Island tournament week over the next 5 or so days. IHS Senior A Netball is travelling down to Palmerston North this morning for the 2015 tournament. After a couple of injuries late in the season ( Jordan and Nicole) we have Jackie Carter joining the teamπ The week may be filled with an array of emotions but despite the outcome of the games, the girls will gain so much experience and will have made a heap of memories. For six of our girls it will be their last Lower Norths as next year they will be heading off to tertiary studies or jobs. We wish these girls good luck with the coming week and hope they don't forget the good times they've had as a Senior A member. Lastly we would like to thank everyone who has helped us throughout the season, or with our fundraising for Lower Norths (junior skills day, bake sale, raffles at the rugby club). Your support is greatly appreciated and our season wouldn't have been possible without it, so thank you! π
