sorry to anyone who has been trying to reach me. I've been a bit poorly.
I'm hoping to be back to work Wednesday and apologise for any inconvenience.
The downside of working on your own is there is nobody to stand in when you just can't.

The first full make of 2024. A gorgeous Harris Tweed, made into a special waistcoat and flat cap.
The client wanted a flattering, long fitting waistcoat, something a step up from the standard style.
We have deliberated over the perfect lining and had the whole drawer of buttons out before choosing the dark green lining and silver buttons.

A very merry Christmas and a Happy New year to all my customers and social followers.

Hi all ...... I've just received a hospital appointment for Friday 22nd December, which, although awkward for Christmas, means I don't have to have too many days off work before Christmas 😊

Day 8 and 9 🤣🤣🤣 ... it was a bit busy yesterday, and I didn't get chance to post !
So here's a collection of handmade bags and purses. There is a selection ready-made in the shop . There may still be a chance to get an order in for Christmas, but be quick !

Day 7. ... that unique special person in your life deserves a unique gift.
A weekender travel set. Holdall, handbag and vanity.
The holdall and vanity/toiletry bags are lined in water resistant white fabric and the handbag in shocking pink (not quite as shocking as the photograph 😅)
All they need is a weekend away to go with it.😉

Day 6 ... and I'm interrupting the Christmas gifts thread because I've just been sent these pictures of this lucky birthday girl in the frozen theme dress I made for her.

Day 3 .... sorry, I've been in bed all day with stupid cold ! It's unfortunately knocked me flat on my back so today's picture is of the Christmas window.

Instagram keeps reminding me that I haven't posted for a while. ... I've been busy. September is a busy month. I've had my birthday, my wedding anniversary, and a holiday . It hasn't stopped me making though. 😊

Lots of alterations and repairs as well as a few made to.order items.

A couple of backpacks off the machine recently. The denim one is covered with denim from.old jeans and has the levi pocket for an internal pocket.
The bee one is slightly larger with removable straps so it can be used as a sling bag too.
This one I'm keeping for myself 😊 perks of the job !🤣🤣

Just finished. 53x53" super chunky crochet throw. Orange yellow dusky pink and olive green ( it looks black on the pictures but it isn't 😊) a total of 2500g of wool.
