Hello everyone! Long time no see, huh? 😂 I have a big announcement to make in regards to my art! I have been thinking of doing a rebrand for the selling side of my art, and so I've decided to launch a shop under a brand new name... Banana Mochi! 🍌 Aside from liking the new page, you can follow the new account on both Instagram and Twitter (all of my new links will be in the carrd in my bio) 💛

In regards to this account, I will still be using it- just much less frequently and without merch. With this change, I've decided to use my Hannah Walters Art social media for just personal/fun art and maybe some behind the scenes types of things. Otherwise, Banana Mochi will be my primary way of sharing my art and merch with you 🤗

I hope you all are as excited as I am about this development! I will be opening my shop in the near future, so keep an eye out for that announcement! Otherwise, I will be posting product drops on my so make sure to follow and like so that you don't miss anything 👀 As always, thank you so much for your support. It really means the world to me ❤

Hello everyone and welcome to Banana Mochi! 🍌 I created Banana Mochi to get a fresh start on my art merch and to have a more cohesive brand. I hope you are as excited about this new development as I am! 🤗

I will be opening my shop very soon, and I'll be posting product drops leading up to the launch. In the meantime, let me introduce you to Banana Mochi's mascot! 2020 has been quite a year, and I think we are all in agreement that we are ready to say goodbye to it and move forward into 2021! I took several breaks this year in terms of creating and posting art, so I'm very thankful for all of the support from everyone despite that 🥰 I have a lot of plans for new art, so I hope you are excited to see! May next year clear the (very low) bar that 2020 set and be fruitful, happy, and healthy for everyone! Happy new year 2021! 🎊

Day 31: 🎃 Pumpkin Pie x Any Villager 🎃

This is the last prompt! Yay! What better way to say farewell to October and welcome November than with pumpkin pie? 🍁 Something was calling me to Coco and I also wanted to include Jack a little, so I ended up with a hollow-head theme. I had a lot of fun with this challenge, but I have to say I'm glad to be done and moving onto new things ✨

Day 30: ☕ Wedding Cake x Peppy Villager ☕

So, I definitely took some liberties with what a wedding cake is 😂 I wanted to go for one of those fancy cakes that doesn't actually look like it's made of cake, but it kind of just looks like regular tea cups 😶 I thought Chai looked pretty bridal, and I wanted to nod at Tia with the tea pot also 🐘

Day 29: 🐌 Cinnamon Roll x Favorite Bug 🐌

Cinnamon rolls are one of my favorite sweet breakfast foods 😍 I was struggling with which bug to pick, and then it hit me how perfect a snail works with swirly cinnamon rolls 🍥 Snails are so cute to see just hanging out in the rain 🌧

Day 28: 🥐 Croissant x Snooty Villager 🥐

Croissants are one of my favorite bread-like foods and they would be really good with nuts I think! For that reason, I thought Pecan suited this prompt well 🐿

Day 27: 🍌 Crepe x Normal Villager 🍌

I LOOOVE crepes, and strawberry banana is such a classic combo 🍓🍌 Chevre is one of the cutest designs in my opinion, and she fits right in with this yummy treat 🐐

Day 26: 🍐 Wagashi x Pear 🍐

Wagashi (traditional Japanese sweets) are so creative and beautiful! They are often very tied with seasonality, so I wanted to show the life of a pear 🍃🌸🍐

Day 25: 🐚 Cupcake x Sea Shell 🐚

Cupcakes are a total blank canvas, so I had a lot of room for creativity with this prompt! I tried to go for a half-beach, half-waves look 🏖

Day 24: 🍮 Flan x Lazy Villager 🍮

Flan looks similar to Japanese pudding, so I had to do Marty (and by extension Pom Pom Purin)! He is one of my favorite Sanrio villagers/characters 🐻🐶 Only 7 left to go!!

Day 23: 🦉 Eclair x Any NPC 🦉

Now that I think of it, I've never actually had an eclair 😮 I can totally picture Blathers stopping at his friend Brewster's cafe to snack on one of these while he does some research ☕🤓

Day 22: 🍉 Jelly x Cranky Villager 🍉

I'm not the biggest fan of jelly, but you can really get creative when making them. I also don't really love watermelons, but they are so cool and refreshing looking. I had a hard time picking a vilager, until I realized how much Chow looks like a watermelon 🍉🐼

Day 21: ❄ Taiyaki x Peppy Villager ❄

I love taiyaki and would love to get a mold to make them someday! The kind with ice cream coming from the mouth looks so yummy and immediately made me think that it would pair perfectly with Sprinkle! 🐧

Day 18: 🍰 Strawberry Charlotte x Smug Villager 🍰

I had never heard of a strawberry charlotte before this prompt list, but I love strawberries, so I'm sure I would really enjoy it 🍓 I've also never really paid much attention to Henry before, but his colors look nice with the red strawberries and I think he would enjoy this fancy treat 🐸

Day 15: 🍰 Birthday Cake x Snooty Villager 🍰

Birthday cakes can look so many different ways, but I went with a classic white cake, frosting, and sprinkles look 🍭 Willow's color scheme is similar and she is one of my favorite snooty villagers, so I decided to include her with this sweet treat 🐑

Day 14: 🍒 Creme Brulee x Cherry 🍒

I've only had creme brulee one time, but it was absolutely AMAZING! I'm a big fan of cherries so they would definitely be a welcome addition 😋 Also, Cherry is one of my favorite villagers so I had to sneak her in here too 🐶

Ever since I had a mochi donut in Japan, like this one, I can't get them out of my mind. I miss them so much! The amber fossil is super pretty, and I tried to make it look like the donut even has an amber glaze 🦴

I never knew what an opera was, but these cakes look super delicious! I love the fruit trees in animal crossing, so an apple tree growing from an opera cake piece of "earth" made sense to me 🍰
