It’s great to be a Michigan Wolverine!
Began the day with my first cup of coffee for the new year. Ended it screaming and nearly crying. What. A. Game. GO BLUE!!!
If you like 50s rock n roll catch my side project here. Played our last show of 2023 last night and it was a real barn burner! Follow us on instagram too if you like - we play once a month in the Nashville area and that’s the best way to find out when / where.
Union Hill Rumblers @ Dee's 12.21.23 Tip at Venmo: -Scibilia

Honored to be a part of this compilation! Make sure to get yourself a copy.
Because you gotta have a hollow body if you’re gonna play this stuff. Ain’t that right Gene? If it’s “running right” in time, it’ll be up on the hill Dec. 14th where I’ll be playing 2 sets with starting at 6:30 at Union Hill Trading Post. AND it’s FREE.
Hail (again)!
Happy Thanksgiving from Gram and Gramps living room!
Took the boys to Michigan (my native state) a few weeks back. Among many things, enjoyed some hockey, some Detroit, some time with Gabriel at and definitely time with the Davis clan!

My cover of Bruce Springsteens’s classic “Darkness On The Edge Of Town” is out now and will be featured on Dualtone’s Discovered and Covered vinyl coming December 8th. Take a listen and grab your pre-order vinyl today at https://www.dualtonestore.com/collections/discovered-covered
Personally Springsteen is a musical hero of mine and his lyrical explorations of the working class in particular, never cease to pull up the often veiled beauty therein; sometimes anthemically, sometimes softly, but always dramatically reminding us that, no matter if you’re scrubbing floors, doing dishes, teaching geometry, advising finances, digging holes or mending wounds it’s valuable because you’re valuable - actually filled to the brim with it. And when we forget, it’s songs like this that remind us of how darkness AND light level the playing field. The darkness on the edge of rural America’s m**h hills is the same darkness on the edge of Capitol Hill. But, when the light cuts through it’s also the same light.

Glad my sweet cousin in law got a few photos of this barn burner of a birthday party (mine) from a few weeks back. We did my favorite thing for at least 3 hours straight! I had no voice by the end of it all…sang originals, then sang covers until Aug 4th turned to Aug 5th. Thankful to , and for hanging in there with me as we traveled through the lines and likes of Tom Petty, Elvis, Everly Bros., Cranberries, Green Day, Gillian Welch (with special guest ), Oasis (with special guest ), Zeppelin, Johnny Cash, Weezer, The Tokens…and more…I think. 🤷♂️😆 In the words of my brother - “There were 20 of us and we partied like there were 100!” ⚡️🕺🎷🎸
Have a good weekend everyone. 🥸
If you hear a strange sound out here in the hills of north Goodlettsville, maybe it’s the drag strip, maybe it’s the coyotes, or maybe it’s this! Got me a sax! 🎷 🥳
15 years + these have been in my wallet. 15 years she’s been my girl, my bride, through the better and the worse. And I, but by the grace of God, have been the fortunate primary partaker of all the selfless, sacrificial, feisty, unconditional, dig-in-and-get-your-hands-dirty kind of love that she gives every day. She hates that I’m posting this (not being a fan of attention), but I’m proud to celebrate 15 years with HER, and wanted you to know it.
