I get so emotional at these every year, but particularly this one. Thank you for listening to and loving Moving Fast. There’s so much more where that came from. Seeya in 2024!

The weekend of Friday the 13th. What a time.

Rescue Pets wouldn’t be playing these stages if it weren’t for all of you wonderful people who have connected with us and shared your love for our music over the past year.

Also, shouts out to Nat and Dave (and Sam ofc) for their dedication to elevating the hell out of my songs. Thank you for all of your support as fellow musicians, collaborators, and friends on this magical mystery ride!

We’re taking a much needed break from gigging in November to regroup and figure out the next steps to get these songs in your ear holes ASAP.

In the meantime, be safe, stay well, and see you all in December.

People love to romanticize the “sad girl” until she struggles to take care of herself and her space, falls behind at work or school, has difficulty maintaining relationships, and loses her sense of self and feeling of purpose, among other things.

Depression sucks. I would know, having been diagnosed when I was 14. It took me several medications and years of therapy and trial and error to learn how to manage my symptoms. It’s crushing to think that, had I not had access to mental health services, I may not be here today.

Today, we are one week out from Mental Health Meets the Arts and my debut single release. I am so honored to help raise awareness and funds for mental healthcare accessibility through my music. It feels like I’ve come full circle, and a lifelong dream come true.

Needless to say, this is a deeply personal cause to me. If your Sunday is feeling a little toooooo lazy, come on out, catch my solo set at 12:30, and celebrate with me. Hope to see you there ✨
