Why can’t my students just get it like ? 😂 also PSA… if ur friend dms you out of random asking to screenshot a link sent by Instagram, it’s a scam… don’t do it. I almost fell for it bc a friend was asking…just FYI… I also got scammed on recently and they won’t give my money back. So make sure you have two-way authentication on… or the hackers will get into ur account and use up ur money and PayPal won’t be helpful…. They refused to refund all my money back saying I have to pay for my scammer’s transaction fee…

I’m just trying to survive living in Japan right now… so I even forgot it’s teacher appreciation week. I realized I was so spoiled in my previous school bc I got nothing here 😂 Our admin gave us a gift of time, which we can’t really use when students are at school so idk if I’ll ever use it…? So I’m a few days late but we had fun celebrating the epic and this week! I stayed in character as an old lady all day and my kinders helped me stand up and sit down all day lol

We did a quick float or sink science experiment and it started out well w kids being excited about finding out what actually sinks or floats…Then it turned into a waterpark activity w water everywhere lol 😭

The reason why I’ve been MIA these days is because I’ve been on a survival mode the last couple of months. I quit my job last month and I’ve been preparing to move abroad. When Covid hit, I started thinking a lot about my life and how I’ve always wanted to go back to Japan to teach (I taught English there years ago). So…I’m flying out tomorrow to teach kindergarten in Japan! I’ve never taught primary grades so if you have any tips, please let me know! I hope to continue meming in Japan about teaching kinders! I mean I knew teaching will be hard, but didn’t know it never gets easier 😝I used to eat these in Korea when I was little but I’ve never succeeded in breaking off the shape… If you get the shape right, you’d get an extra candy.

Teachers are doing the best they can… You try keeping them apart lol We have an audit person that comes around to see if teachers and kids are following the covid protocols and I know he’s doing his job, but it just adds another stress…

I just feel like teachers have a lot on their plate rn… w all the covid requirements and teaching while wearing a mask… so… how about lessening the workload instead?

Feel super beaten up and tired but happy that it’s Friday 💕

Why is lunch time so short??? By the time you heat up lunch and use the restroom, the time is up…
Today a kid was super eager to answer my question, waving his hand like crazy… but his answer was completely off…. 😂
There’s a girl that always says bye and thank you and I just want to take her home… She makes my day… Today also felt very mondayish…but it’s Tuesday!
Today I found myself saying, “That’s awesome!” to students when I didn’t even understand what they were saying
