๐ I believe we all have a day when we have questioned our own life decisions. We can all understand when someone feels low.
๐ทโโ๏ธ This cause is important to my business and clients as I serve primarily in the blue industry. According to the CDC, su***de rates are increasing, including in the blue-collar construction industry.
AFSP specifically as they provide support, and education at all levels to reach as many lives as possible. 80% of the donations go towards their programs, education, and services.
๐ I truly believe in this cause and want to help support the education and awareness this foundation provides. I am also part of their walk committee and host a group to walk every year.

Think about those days when you're rushing around- Your mind feels chaotic and you're going from one thing to the next.
What are you accomplishing and getting done correctly?
Those days, you are running from each room, one task to another, and forgetting things mentally or physically.
I look at it this way: When my TV is not working, I have to turn it off, count to five, and turn it back on. Then, it usually works fine.
We are not computers. ๐๐ปWe need to reset and refocus. ๐ฎโ๐จ๐ค

๐จโ๐ฉโ๐งโ๐ฆ I am at the age where many of my friends are getting married or having kids. Both life changes are scary. So what do you do, you go right to Google or social media.
๐ We say we were not taught this when we were young. - And a lot of us were not.
With all that being said:
๐ This year, I have joined the 2024 ResearcHERS American Cancer Society of Greater Philadelphia campaign to support women-led cancer research.
Women make invaluable contributions to cancer research, yet are underrepresented in research leadership. This campaign raises funds and awareness for women-led cancer research and programs introducing the next generation of girls to careers in STEM.

You are now standing and trying to take a bite of your sandwich, and you see an email that you need to follow up, by calling them.
You hear all this great advice on how to show up for you every day. The thing is not everything is going to work for you.
On Friday at CI Services, LLC we discussed what we see as wasted time, talked solutions, and how to start making time for you every day.

What is one trick/habit you practice to save time?
You plan your day to get all the chores, and reports done. Do you also plan time for just you?
๐ฐ At the Willows Park Preserve , I implemented a workshop teaching how to use the Eisenhower box, delegate, and make time for you.
โ When you create a habit it is about making small consistent moves. When you "Drink the coffee while it is HOT" it is a small and consistent habit you can follow.
โ What is one thing you do today for just you?
โ Yes, I am wearing gloves. I hate being cold. I had a jacket on too, but Marikate Venuto said "Branding Jessica"! ๐คฃ

โฐ You wake up and your to-do list starts to populate in your head. Then your anxious thoughts start: how will I get all of this done?
๐ At Sweetwater Construction Corp. this week in our workshops we discussed how understanding different departments reduces wasted time and stress. We also talked about two different time management methods.
Followed by a day of employee coaching.
๐ Eisenhower Box/Matrix - President Eisenhower was known for delegating.
๐ฐ Time Blocking - Benjamin Franklin is one of the first references to practicing time blocking.
