We do love a rehomer update, it’s great to see how our horses and ponies are getting on in their homes!
Thank you to rehomer Colleen, for sharing this wonderful update on Lucas who is currently storming through the British Eventing levels! Last year, Colleen and Lucas stepped up to Novice, and earned a top eight placing on their first attempt at this level.
Colleen says, “Lucas has been an absolute superstar all season, and has become somewhat an adrenaline ju**ie over the 1.15m jumps! We ended our season by completing our first international, where he stormed round the FEI 1* track at Blair Castle International Horse Trails without even blinking. He is without a doubt the sweetest and most genuine little horse I have ever come across, and he is truly a once in a lifetime character. I owe so much to him, but also to World Horse Welfare for not only trusting me with his upbringing, but for also giving him the best possible start in life when he was found abandoned and emaciated, along with his mother India. I honestly cannot thank you all enough! 2023 is bringing us bigger and better plans!”
If you think you could give one of our horses or ponies a loving new home, please visit our website now – https://bit.ly/3GjpqTu

The Origin of Polo (Sagol Kangjei) from Manipur - With Infographics This is the translation of an essay Sagol Kaangjei (Polo in English) written by Wahengbam Yumjao and published in 1965
Rainy Season is the most difficult season for ponies, with no dedicated grazing area, the farmers are also cautious for the new paddies, won't like them to be in their fields.
