Welcome! A few Illini Bluffs Alumn are starting an FFA Alumni group to help support the newly re-instated FFA at I.B. I.B.
We are proud to announce that we are starting the IB FFA Alumni to support the IB FFA Chapter students in education and networking to develop their potential. We are looking for others who would be interested in becoming a βfounding charter memberβ with our group. had a short two year FFA charter in the early 2000βs, but the last FFA chapter shut down in 1968! It's time to bring agriculture support back!

The Illini Bluffs FFA Chapter Officers have officially all been elected for the 2024-2025 year! These kids are excited to get more involved and help grow our chapter!!

Join us at our monthly meeting to discuss improvements for the FFA chapter at Illini Bluffs Community Unit School District #327. This month, meet the new advisor and learn about our efforts to create a positive experience for FFA members.

Congratulations to the IBHS Agriculture Department! Our new Agriculture teacher and FFA sponsor, Ms. Harmon, applied for and won a $4,000 grant sponsored by Compeer Financial. The grant will be used to purchase additional power tools and horticulture supplies. IBHS would like to thank Ms. Harmon for her hard work, Mr. Scott Pedigo and Compeer Financial for sponsoring the grant, and Mr. Justin Towery, our FFA Alumni President, for supporting our programs!
The community garden outside the high-school is starting to provide some nice produce. Onions, garlic, cucumber and zucchin are picked and ready. There is also lettuce that can be harvested. Go up take a looking enjoy.

Just a reminder that this Thursday, April 11, at 6:30 p.m. the Illini Bluffs FFA Alumni will meet in Leslie Babbs classroom at the Illini Bluffs High School. We'll review how the Egg Your Yard fundraiser went and final preparations for the FFA Banquet coming up April 24.
We will have a Zoom link the day of the meeting available that will be emailed out to everyone in case you cannot attend in person.
Reservations for the banquet are due to Leslie Babbs by tomorrow. Please email her at [email protected] so she can get a head count.

St. Louis Cardinals Day with Illinois FFA - Saturday, May 25, 2024
Join Illinois FFA as the St. Louis Cardinals take on the Chicago Cubs.
When: May 25, 2024
Where: Busch Stadium, 700 Clark Avenue, St. Louis, MO
Gates Open: 4:15 p.m.
First Pitch: 6:15 p.m.
Ticket Location: Sections 269-270*
Price: $55 per ticket until April 15th**
Deadline to register for tickets: May 8, 2024, or until tickets sellout
* Tickets will be picked up at the game. Pick-up location TBA.
**Ticket prices increase to $65 on April 15, 2024.
Please note there is a limited amount of tickets, so this is a first-come, first-served event. Teachers must register for tickets for all students, parents, alumni, and supporters through the ilaged.org website. Once submitted, you cannot resubmit. If your order needs to change, please contact Patti Davis, [email protected] at the Illinois FFA Center.
Tickets are NONREFUNDABLE. If a game is postponed due to weather or other reasons, it will be rescheduled for a future date as either a split doubleheader or on an open date. Tickets are not subject to refunds or exchanges. Guests should retain their original tickets for use with the official policy that the Cardinals will announce at the time the game is postponed. Guests may also visit cardinals.com for up-to-date information on game reschedules.
Parking is the responsibility of the attendees.

2024 John Deere 835M Gator Raffle Tickets are available for purchase or you can sell them at your local FFA or Alumni Chapter. 40% of the sales go back to your chapter. If you'd like to purchase tickets by credit card, please go to https://www.ilaged.org/alumni for the credit card link or how to mail in a check. You can also purchase tickets from alumni council members. The drawing will be held at the State FFA Convention on June 13, 2024. The chapter that sells the winning ticket will receive $300.
Tickets are 1 for $10; 3 for $25; 20 for $100.

When we hit the 2,000 required requests and deposits, you will receive a letter from the Secretary of Stateβs Office and a license plate transfer application that you will need to submit to actually receive a decal.
Do you want to know the best part? The $10 payment will be donated to the Foundation whether we hit the 2,000 requests required for the decal to be commissioned or not.
The Foundation has an opportunity to receive $20,000 and establish a long-term financial revenue stream, but we need your help!
The Foundation has until January 2025 to reach the 2,000 request minimum, but the faster we hit that goal, the sooner the Illinois FFA decal will be on the road.
