During my online seminar earlier this week, a few questions came up regarding the use of symbols when giving a treatment. So I thought its a great opporutnity to delve a bit deeper into the meaning.

Firstly, it is not required to use the symbols when practicing Reiki. It can help to focus and set intention, but the true power comes from your intention and connection with the energy.

🤲 Reiki is undoing what happened. It brings awareness to the body from both the giver and the receiver—without judgment. Whatever is stuck will start to move 🤲

When we don't want to feel, we tend to close down, hide and tense up. That means that the universe trying to express itself through you will get stuck in our emotional body and eventually our physical body. Sometimes these blockages can there for years, even decades.

Reiki helps release these area's of tension that have manifested in the body. Simply by bringing the awareness there from both the one receiving, as well as the one giving the treatment.

Then, healing can begin.
