Why did you join VAPSA?
- Growing up in Orange County, I have always been in touch with my culture, and VAPSA gives me an opportunity to give my all to the community I love, develop my personal and professional skills, and advocate for the Vietnamese-American community. Being the President of this organization has been such a pleasure, and I am excited to continue to provide socials and community outreach events for our members!

Welcome our Vice President, Jenny.
Why did you join VAPSA?
- I joined VAPSA so I could contribute to the Vietnamese community on a more personal level. VAPSA gave me the opportunity to interact with different types of nonprofit organizations that focus on aiding the Vietnamese community here in OC as well as directly in Vietnam. One particular nonprofit organization we have worked with was SAP-VN, and I have enjoyed communicating and working with them to help with the local schools in OC and the children in the orphanages in Vietnam. This organization is very close to my heart as it allows me to connect with so many people and impact their lives in a positive way, and I wouldn't be able to do it without the help of VAPSA.

Why did you join VAPSA?
- I wanted to join VAPSA to have the opportunity to give back to the underserved Vietnamese population who struggle with a language barrier. Having family members who also share the same experience made me realize that there are more people who also have trouble comprehending and following their medication regimen. Being a part of VAPSA allows me to make an impact in the health and well-being of these patients and create long-lasting relationships. I want to get the chance to continue to educate and provide the highest quality of care for the Vietnamese community.

Why did you want to join VAPSA?
-I joined VAPSA to better explore my community and be able to find opportunities to give back personally. Growing up, I frequented the OC area and was raised by my grandparents. They taught me all the Vietnamese I know and immersed me in my culture. As I got older, I started schooling and felt a little more disconnect with my childhood and culture. Now, I want to be able to help people like my grandparents and allow them to feel more comfort in taking charge of their health. I also joined because Veronica told me to and I'm her #1 sasaeng β€οΈ
