Today is and we can't think of a better time to announce the 2nd Annual Cayuga Lake National Bank Bee You Awards!
The Bee You Awards celebrate students in grades 6-12 in our neighboring schools - Lansing Middle School, Lansing High School, Moravia Junior Senior High School, Southern Cayuga High School, and Union Springs Middle and High School.
Nominated students should exhibit one or more of the following characteristics:
• Motivation • Kindness • Compassion
• Dedication • Empathy• Leadership
• Authenticity • Bravery
The awards recognize two students from each grade in each district.
Selected recipients will be honored at an event this spring and be entered in a raffle to win one grand prize of $1,000.
Students can be nominated by teachers, guidance counselors, civic group leaders, neighbors, employers - anyone!

For the month of November Izzo’s White Barn Winery is the donation station for the Hungry Like A Wolf backpack program. This program helps feed families in our community and school district on the weekends. Please see the list below of items that are being accepted. If you are in the area and do not have a food donation a $5 monetary donation is being accepted that will be matched by Izzo’s to purchase said foods. If you are interested in donating during non business hours please contact Emily @ 315-406-7446!

What does PTO do?
We support the teachers and students at AJ in a variety of ways. This Friday we are bringing in Hilby the German Juggler to help kick off the Positivity Project (P2) for the school year. Other events include Field Days, Teacher Appreciation Week, the Rock Wall in the gymnasium, bicycles for the school, 5th Grade Graduation Ceremonies, 3 Sister’s Garden and so much more!
