Hello Stampers! I want to take a moment to thank you all for your love, support and, prayers. My rotator cuff surgery was successful. Starting next week I’ll begin my journey with PT. That’s another 4-6 weeks. It’s been three weeks since my accident and I’m going a little stir crazy. I can’t wait to get back to stamping! I’m also very grateful my wonderful husband, Paul. He’s not only taking good care of me as I recuperate, but he’s also doing all the cooking and cleaning. I couldn’t manage all this on my own, especially one handed and my left hand besides. Here’s hoping PT is successful so that I can get back to doing what I love……….sharing my love of stamping..
Hello stampers! Well, when I do something, I do it really well. I have a complete tear of my rotator cuff and a dislocated tendon in my bicep. I had surgery this past Monday to repair all that. But now I will be in a sling for 4 to 6 weeks and then PT for another 4 to 6 weeks. So unfortunately, that means I am out of commission for quite some time. I’m really disappointed because I was looking forward to getting back into making some videos for you and sharing what I love. But all of that is going to have to go on hold. I am hoping that eventually I am OK enough that I can do a video and at least share some cards that I’ve made even if I can’t make them during the video. I would like to at least keep you inspired and give you some ideas. So maybe that’s what I will do if things get a little bit better here eventually. Thank you for all your prayers and concerns that you’ve all sent to me. It is greatly appreciated and I love you all.
Hello stampers and friends. I hope you’re all getting ready to enjoy this beautiful Labor Day weekend. Our weather looks like it’s going to cooperate and be really nice. I was hoping to get back into a good stamping routine and even start making some fun videos. Well, my clumsiness put a hold on that. Yesterday afternoon I was coming in the front door and the storm door caught my shoe and tripped me. I fell and landed on my shoulder pretty hard. I went to the ER and they took some x-rays. Thankfully nothing’s broken. But I’m going in for an MRI this afternoon to check the rotator cuff. I’m praying it’s okay and I just sprained my shoulder. Either way, I’ll be out of stamping for a while since I can’t move my right arm. I’m hoping to feel better and be able to move my arm in a couple weeks. Thanks for your patience and understanding.
Hello Stampers and Friends! What a busy summer! We’ve had lots of company (we live on a lake), some camping, and just being generally busy. Then this pad couple of weeks my husband and I came down with covid. He got it first and decided to share it with me. It’s still kind of busy so I decided to wait a couple more weeks to start the videos again. We are going camping again but I hope to fit in some videos after the Labor Day weekend. Here’s a card I made recently to get you inspired. 😊
Join me this afternoon at 2 pm Central time for another presentation of Stampin At The Cabin. I'll be featuring a couple of new bundles that are on sale as well as a fun technique. Share this with your friends! The more, the merrier!
Hello, Stampin' Friends!
Life is slowly calming down and getting back to normal. My cataract surgeries are done and I have to say I'm very happy with the results. After wearing glasses since I was 8 years old, it's so nice to be able to see without them. I only need glasses for the up close work. So now I can get back to work and prepare some projects for you.
Next week I'll return to posting a presentation showing you some fun and awesome cards. Join me on Thursday, June 27th, at 2 PM Central time for another episode of Stampin At The Cabin. I can't wait to share a new stamp set with you! Share with your friends!
Hello Stampers. Do you ever feel like life gets in the way of your creativity? I know I feel that way from time to time. I’ll have some ideas I want to try but just can’t seem to get to them. Well, that’s what is happening this week. Tomorrow morning I’m having cataract surgery on my right eye. There will be no stamping for a few days while my eye heals. Then in two weeks I’m having my left eye surgery done.
If I can see well enough in between surgeries, I’ll do my best to do another fun presentation. I will keep you posted if and when I can. Thanks for your patience and understanding!
Maybe you could make some fun cards and post them here for us all to see what you’ve been working on! I know I’d love to see what you’re doing!
Yesterday was a beautiful day. We held a Celebration of Life for my mother-in-law and the ceremony was lovely. Wonderful memories were shared and it was so nice to see so many we haven't seen in a long time. That being said, I'm sad to say I won't be having a presentation tomorrow. There just hasn't been time to prepare a fun project for you. But I promise I'll be back next Wednesday with something fun and creative. Thanks for your understanding. See you next week!
