Famous Photographers School, Westport, Connecticut

Taught tens of thousands of future Photographers in the 60s and early 70s. Photography School, founded by Victor Keppler (1904-1987).

The guiding faculty was made up of about ten (or so) well-known photographers in various branches of the business. These included, besides Keppler, Richard Avedon, (1923-2004), Philippe Halsman (1906-1979), Irving Penn (b. 1917), Bert Stern (b. 1929), and Alfred Eisenstaedt (1898-1995).
