I had the best soup today made by chef Shae. I have plenty in the freezer to get me through the healing days ahead from being in the hospital for 5 days for major stomach surgery.
I can’t thank you enough.

HEALTH UPDATE:
It’s been a long 4months since my last failed 4th hernia surgery. I had to get a Dr at UCI to take over this complicated surgery repair for a fistula and abscess. Looks like in a month we’ll try and remove the mesh and repair this drawn out infection.
I was on a TPN bag for 5 weeks. We just can’t get this to heal.
This is a highly complicated surgery that could take 6 hours with a possibility of some intestine removal.
Please keep me in your thoughts as I am on this journey to heal.

Need to thank my Daughter-in- law Val, my son Jesse and the 3 Grandkids who jumped right in and made sure I was well taken care of. As well as my daughter, Shae Renae Stuart.
One Grand daughter gave me a cow bell to ring should I need anything. The other Grand-daughter had me texting her and was happy to help no questions asked. It’s amazing how the families love and support can make a difference in healing.

Thank you Jesse for all that you do, not just for me but everyone in the family. It takes a village for sure!

We laid my sister to rest yesterday.This week has been so hard saying good bye to such a wonderful sister.
I also realized I needed to say good bye to those family members who really don’t give a crap about me. Sometimes when you loose one loving family member the real people who love you step up -
The ones that don’t, I need to lay them to rest too…
I think they know who they are.
RIP SISTER, I will see you in heaven one day.
