Working on some craftsman window trim for my old craftsman farmhouse… i’m definitely not a carpenter and I’ve buggered up several boards but I think it’s looking pretty good… what do yall think?

This coffee table is from the 30's-40's & I found it at a yard sale for $3. I've lived w/that dark ugly stain for over 15 yrs...she finally got a much needed little makeover.

Considering I’m on such a strict timeframe, I had to hire out the flooring… without a doubt, it would’ve taken me a couple months to lay 1400 sf of tile. My guy had it done in four days… but I had to wait three weeks for him to get started… it looks great, so I’m happy!

This project is not going quite as quickly as I hoped it would… sanding thresholds and spreading floor leveler… never really expected to use a 50 lb. bag, but I probably need 10 more lbs… but I have started laying some tile in the foyer …my old girl is wearing me out, anybody looking to buy an old house.

Sweet Annie
Sweet Annie is a family owned business and named after our daughter, Antoinette. It was started after inheriting a portion of the our great-grandparents farm in rural North Carolina. They planted pecan trees to provide shade for the long, hot summer days. Almost 100 years later the mammoth sized pecan trees provide an abundance of pecans used to make our classic pecan candy. (pecans are supplement from another grower when needed.) #gottobenc
We grow gourds for staining, painting, carving, burning, weaving & basketry gourd art. Our jewelry made from gourds are cleaned, cut, sanded & shaped before being taken to the art studio. The artist takes the shaped gourds and applies several different types of paints, ink dyes & other mediums to create one of a kind pieces of wearable art. #gottobenc
