Coming back to life…slowly but surely. This is a new project that I haven’t tried before. Can’t wait to finish it up 🖤

Every piece I make is meaningful, but it’s always fun to make a piece for someone very special to me.

This mosaic was a birthday gift for a very, very special girl. It was a little out of my comfort zone with lots of color. But I think we accomplished a rainbow, unicorn 🦄 inspired piece.

A little Inspiration Information 👩🏻‍🎨

I knew I wanted to give Mixed Medium challenge another go, I just wasn’t sure how.

Flash forward to the last few weeks where it seemed like EVERY account I follow was in Italy. So my jealousy started to kick in and I thought back to my trip years ago. I remember being amazed by the tile mosaics that were everywhere!

Then I remembered I collected all those shells on my vacation and it all came together. I gave each one it’s own style and character.

Oh and the names are from the islands off of Venice 🇮🇹

A day late…but excited to reveal my pieces for July “Throwback” Challenge. I decided why pick just one when I could throw in a few 🤷🏻‍♀️

I’ll introduce them a little more this week and explain my inspiration. But for now meet Murano, Burano and Torcello 🤍

Yesterday was Boston Day! Started at Faneuil Hall, onto Quincy Market and the Aquarium. Followed by the most delicious dinner in Little Italy and maybe a cannoli 🤷🏻‍♀️

Feeling so good to unplug and just enjoy these moments ❤️

First real day of vacation and we toured the Newport Mansions…I may not come back 🤩🤩

As a huge Jane Austen fan this is like my wildest dreams come true! Touring these houses, I love to find the smaller and unexpected details. I think I may have to take up blog posts to accurately showcase these pics!

Well this is new 👀 Working on some custom refinishing projects in the next few weeks. Fun little change up!

Last week kicked my butt, this weekend it was nice to just sit quietly in the shed and paint. There’s something very therapeutic about hand painting.

Can’t wait to show you this desk all finished up.

I’ve loved how this piece came together, and I love even more that it’s a little piece of Richmond history and almost entirely repurposed materials.

The blues in the mosaic against that wood grain?! And that shine?! 🤩🤩 Whew it’s got me good!!

I swear I give my clients options of more than just blues and wood tones for mosaics 😂

Just seems like we have similar tastes in color palettes for our homes 🤷🏻‍♀️

Final share on their one case it’s FINALLY done! First name sign is in the books 👍🏻

Forever grateful for clients that give me artistic freedom in these mosaics. I love how this one turned out ❤️🌈

And now that it’s done this is my piece for this month’s Color challenge.

Working on multiple projects at the same time has kept me on my toes. But I’ve really enjoyed being able to mix it up. Finishing these 3 up soon so get ready for ALL the content 😂
