Rammstein: Injunction reached against StubHub
The band had previously been able to obtain an injunction against Viagogo.
May 2, 2023: After Viagogo, StubHub is no longer allowed to sell Rammstein tickets.
The band and MCT Agentur, the tour promoters of the European shows, have obtained an injunction against the platform, according to a press release from MCT.
The plaintiffs claimed that StubHub violated consumer protection regulations that went into effect in May 2022.
The district court of Hamburg has now confirmed this view and also imposed a fine of 15,000 euros.
The Hamburg Regional Court confirmed this – as in the trial against Viagogo in September 2022.
StubHub and Viagogo are “secondary ticket markets”
The two platforms are not official sales platforms - and some of them demanded extremely high prices for the tickets.
In addition, it was not immediately obvious to customers that they were not buying their tickets directly from the organizer.
In addition, the band's official website is not mentioned or linked in any way.
This is now over: "The only authorized ticket provider is CTS Eventim," says the press release.
MCT asks Rammstein fans who haven't been able to get tickets yet to note the following:
◼ The only authorized ticket provider is CTS Eventim. The ticket contingents available there at prices ranging from EUR 70.00 to EUR 131.00 plus fees are currently sold out for the band's German shows.
◼ Only the person whose first and last name is noted on the ticket and who can identify themselves will be admitted. Strict entry controls are in place at all concerts. If a ticket is not personalized to the person requesting entry, they will not be admitted.
◼ Passing on the tickets is prohibited. Any return of the tickets (e.g. due to being unable to attend, illness, etc.) in accordance with the terms and conditions of the tour organizer MCT Agentur can only be processed via the "fanSALE" platform ( www.fansale.de ), which is associated with CTS Eventim.
◼ Tickets that have become available again can be purchased at www.fansale.de .
Providers of the so-called secondary ticket market can be identified by the following, among other things:
◼ Reference to the secondary ticket market in the upper part of the website (eg: "Secondary marketplace", "Reseller", "Prices above original price" etc.) and/or in the respective General Terms and Conditions
◼ often prices far above the original prices (e.g. EUR 200.00 - EUR 1,000.00)

On this day, 29 years ago (30 April 1994), the 5-Track Demo tape by Rammstein was released. The tape was self-released and self-produced by the band, before their contract with Motor Music. This demo was recorded when Falco Richter was still the band's manager.
The demos on this tape were most likely recorded at Knaack Club or Wydoks, but there is a possibility that the demos on this tape were recorded at the studio session they won because of the Metrobeat Contest.
The tape was used for radio airplay to promote the 6 May 1994 show at the Anker venue in Leipzig.
The song "Das alte Leid" is misspelled as "Das alte Lied" on the tracklist. This tape is the only known release to feature a full version of the "Das alte Leid" demo, all other demos of this song on other releases fade out.
The tape features a full version of a unreleased song "Jeder lacht" which snippet circulated for years on the internet before the tape itself was even discovered.

The original demo tape came with a self-made information sheet which was inserted inside of the case. The front of this info sheet reads as follows: (English translation):

The tape presented the band's first logo. It consisted of a self-made rune representing the band's name. Rammstein also used a full-name logo written in runes.

"Adieu" was directed by Specter Berlin and shot in Paris at the beginning of May over the course of 3 days – including one night in the Garnier Opera. It was the first time the latter allowed explosives to be used on their marble, also making a unique exception for Rammstein to use smoke on the premises.

As most of you know, the "2023 European Tour is on and confirmed on R+ website.
But the New Year concert is still in doubt. The ruling political party (CDU/CSU) from Bavaria wants to ok it, but the Green party and many neighbours are fighting it. Anyone, who ever experienced a New Year in Germany, knows this is a big Holiday, extremely loud with huge privat and sponsored fireworks. So those reasons might be thrown out. --- BUT they still will have to hand in a very strict safety concept and we have to hope stuff like covid will not prevent it. So here is to hoping, but I will believe it, when I see tickets up for sale on their website.
