Thermal Imaging (or ‘Thermography’) is an extremely powerful tool that can be used to locate heat losses in buildings. We offer a range of services that focus primarily on the use of thermography to assist with identifying heat losses in residential & commercial buildings. All of our surveys are undertaken by a Chartered Engineer and are carried out in accordance with BS EN 13187:1999 (Thermal performance of buildings - Qualitative detection of thermal irregularities in building envelopes - Infrared method). The more heat losses you have the harder and more frequent your heating system will have to work to maintain your thermostat temperature setting(s). If you identify those losses via thermography and take active steps to correct them then you will immediately begin to recuperate your outlay via the savings you start to make on your domestic energy prices. You will of course also be making a positive contribution to the environment by reducing your carbon footprint.
