#WellnessWednesday This is my first time making salmon #friedrice and I must say myself, it actually turned out to be the Ultimate Fusion Fried Rice. If you know me, then you know I eat according to the colors of the rainbow and this food color theme was : Green, White, Purple and Orange. Try it and let me know how you like it. Here is the Recipe: �Ingredients:* 3 baked salmon fillets (mashed)* 1 bag of baked garlic shrimp* 1 whole celery stalk, chopped* 1 red onion, finely diced* 3 kale leaves, stems removed and chopped* 2 bowls of cooked parboiled rice (cooled and separated)* 2 tablespoons of grass-fed butter* Spices (e.g., black pepper, allspice) to taste* A pinch of Celtic salt* Chopped avocado for garnish�Instructions:* Preheat your oven to a low setting, around 175°F (80°C), to keep the salmon and shrimp warm while you prepare the rest of the dish. * In a large skillet or wok, melt the butter over medium heat.* Add the diced red onions and chopped celery to the pan. Sauté them until they become soft and translucent, which should take about 3-4 minutes.* Season the onions and celery with your preferred spices. You can use a combination of black pepper, allspice, and a pinch of Celtic salt. Adjust the seasoning to your taste.* Add the mashed salmon and the baked garlic shrimp from the bag into the pan with the sautéed onions and celery. Continue to stir and cook for another 2-3 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld. Gently add the cooked rice and the chopped kale and let it cook for additional 3 minutes. I used a juicer for more flavor, but it’s still tea. The idea was a cozy warm comfort drink. 💛Heating will reduce some of the antioxidants and you don’t have to heat to a boil in fact since I didn’t add any water to this I only heated it for a few mins until warm. If your goal is maximizing nutrients you’ll want to enjoy this as a fresh juice rather than a tea. Feel free to add black pepper to increase turmeric bioavailability.I used agave not honey because I’m vegan, but sweetener is optional or can be added later.
