Happy Sunday! Today, we are sharing this fabulous Mark J. Barrett photo of Dolly and bat, the first two Gypsy Vanners to step foot on American soil. Dolly and Bat arrived as long yearlings (around 18 months old) on November 24, 1996. In 1999, Bat went on to give birth to the first Gypsy Vanner foal born in America, a filly named Kuchi, and Dolly followed with America's first c**t, Lash, just a couple of weeks later. Dolly was registered GV00002F and Bat was registered GV00003F.
