What kind of opportunities did this project create for you as a director after the internationally successful Club, which used large sets and casts?

Focusing only on acting felt very comfortable and enjoyable after the big projects I had done. I can say that I had the most joyful set of my life. Since the story takes place in a single location and on one night, we looked for ways to keep the audience involved in the story without boring them. It was a set where music was constantly playing, where there was plenty of conversation, just like the work itself, where ideas were shared, where no one judged anyone, and where everyone had the right to make mistakes until they felt comfortable. All of the things I have listed seem very free, creatively comfortable and new to me, after the working system of shooting big projects with very big budgets and meticulously calculating and planning for months what to shoot and how to shoot it, working on it many times and drawing storyboards.

Why did you want to tell it in four parts?

Since the story takes place in a single location and develops through an interview, it is a work with a fast pace and no unnecessary delays. I wanted it to be an up-to-date and dynamic work...”

Watching the changes of the characters from the first episode to the last episode is very nice in itself. So is witnessing all stages of the male-female relationship in one night; Let them watch them all. I really like the block in the third episode where they talk about intimacy, which starts with their close-up glasses and continues until the end of the episode. And the finale of course.”
