Project Trauma Support - PTS
Canadian Program that addresses PTSD in Military and First Responders.
Project Trauma Support is a new Canadian program that addresses Post Traumatic Stress and Operational Stress Injury in military personnel, veterans and first responders. Our team consists of mental health professionals and police and military officers who have extensive lived experience. Our goal is to provide timely access and deliver effective help to those suffering from service related trauma.
Great program run by great folks
Here is a free webinar you can sign up for Tuesday April 30!
From the www.allsecurefoundation.org folks.
We know families of military members and veterans are incredibly important and they take big hits too.
Once again The Riders are hosting their poker run fundraiser September 7th. This group of motorcycle enthusiasts has done so much to support PTS! Big shout out to Marie Swinimer and her gang who spend countless hours organizing this very successful event. We are beyond grateful for their help and we are hoping you can spread this post far and wide.
On February 22, The Last Supper, headline band for our Project Trauma Support charity, made history when they sent a nickel disc etched with their music to the moon with the Odysseus. We were invited to their moon landing party. And we are inviting you to our music fundraiser August 10. We need to raise as much money as we can to continue helping our first responders and military members whose hearts, minds and souls become injured on the job. Please buy tickets and come for a great evening of music and friendship. Please donate. Tax receipts are available for donations and a portion of ticket sales. We are also looking for donated items for our online auction.

Plan your weekend now! August 10 this year is our Project Trauma Support music fundraiser. Fun, friends, new and old connections. Don’t miss out this year. Please come out to the farm and support us so we can help more people.
A big shout out to Steve and Sue Tennant and the Listening Room for hosting the Don Bray/Christine McLean concert tonight that made Project Trauma Support the beneficiary. What a great concert in a great venue with wonderful folks!
We still have a few spaces for Cohort 66 (male), Dec 1 to 6. This one is specifically for first responders and military who are still at work but at risk of going off for mental stress. We are hoping we can provide some new perspectives to help. If you or someone you know could benefit, please send us a message or email us at [email protected]
We learned fairly early on in our work that Remembrance Day has a powerful influence on military members and veterans. Some begin to be aware that the day is coming almost as soon as summer is over. Project Trauma Support hosted a pre-Remembrance Day 2 days ago to invite our military and veteran participants to ponder some new perspectives about the meaning of remembrance. This quote summarizes things nicely…
Once again, the hugely successful and highly anticipated “Party Under the Stars” is back! This is a fundraiser sponsored by “To the ‘Stan and Back” whose proceeds go to support mental health programs for military members, veterans and first responders. PTS has been a grateful recipient of grants from this fundraiser in many past years.
This year it will be on December 4th at City Hall in Ottawa. Great food! Great speeches! Meet wonderful and interesting people. Please plan on coming. And if you can’t make it, buy a ticker anyway!

We are very grateful to the many individuals and organizations who hosted events this year to raise funds for PTS.
Meredith Kennedy of MKennedy Team hosted a golf tournament that raised thousands. The Riders also raised a lot of money for us once again this year. The Red Knights in Kingston held a motorcycle ride as well to benefit us. Cheryl and Kate raised money through their 911 event in Timmins. Thanks also to Pat Cyr and the Veteran Paratroopers for their support. So many more have contributed and we appreciate you all so much! Every cent counts and you know every cent goes to offering our programming! Excited about the new programs to come!
Note some changes in date and location, but same great program!
Thank you Your Daily Fix Coffee for your steadfast support!
La Course de l’armée est de retour le dimanche 17 septembre.
